Lionel thought for a second before saying," has anyone ever seen someone with silver hair?" And the table went quiet as everyone kinda looked at each other and then laughed. "There has never been such a person unless they are old!" Cackled one of the older knights who slapping the table. "Not old people! I just mean like people who are born with their hair that color..." Lionel said quickly as the table shook from laughter. "Theres a legend about people with white hair, if that's what you are going on about but that's only a legend." Said another knight looking at the one next to him who had not stopped laughing and elbowed him in the shoulder. Lionel looked at both the knights with confusion and then to Eric. "Oh come on! You don't mean you forgot the story youre own sister use to tell us!" Eric said with a solemn face and adverted his eyes from Lionel. Looking at his food he had left he started to play with it when he asked," I.. don't remember... much of that story anymore Eric..." the table quiet.
It was so quiet that no one had noticed the man who had approached their table. "Years ago this world was home to more than just the human race." He said standing behind Lionel. "But back then chaos had just begun,"
He grumbled with a deep voice and turned to walk away. "But that's only legends." He muttered over his should and left the group. The whole table watched the man in armor only from the waist down, exit the dinning hall. He had dark brown hair that was almost black pulled back in a tight short pony tail on the crown of his head. a sigh of releaf came from the table before anyone realized they where holding their breath." that is one hell of a scary man..." muttered the knight who was once laughing as he downed the rest of his ale stood up from the table and gave a look to Lionel." if we were all like him Wed prpbaly belong to the devil himself." muttering to himself gathering what was left of his food and walked away with the damppering of the mood in the room. Eric looked to the other knight with a questioning look. with a grave look he opened his mouth," he is known as the mountain...." the confusion in both sets of eyes where evident as he drew a slow breath. "No one knows why he showed up or where he comes from... he just appeared one day." He looked to his companions and as if a key unlocked a door memories of what happened that day surfaced in the older knights minds. The tables darken mood only got darker with the silence.
After dinner everyone started going back to their rooms for the end of the night. Some stumbled back in groups, some went alone, some didn't even get up from their tables to leave for they had already passed out drunkly in their spots. Lionel paused with his hand hovering over the handle of his door. Looking around as he slowly retreated back down the hall. Down serval different halls. Till he ended in a familiar dark door where the chill of night could seep deep into ones bones. With it now being dark the door in the corner could definitely not be seen. He quickly made his way down the stairs and down the row of cells.
