Happy harbor showdown

Lamar jumped out the Secret sanctuary and started sprinting towards the nearby mountain where the blob landed.

As he was running the Blob bounce out of the crater that it created when it landed and started squirming around. The area where he kicked the blob was glowing a bright blue color before it fade away.

'It looks like the creature absorbed the kinetic energy from my blow. I need to find a way to trap it that's going to be hard since it can slip through cracks.'

As the green blob was absorbing the kinetic energy it grew even larger and started morphing into a more humanoid like appearance. It's Body still a translucent green.

Lamar appeared in front of the creature instantaneously. Ducking underneath the Blob Lamar grab it by it's shoulder and flipped it over his head the blob lost balance and was slammed into the ground.

BoBoBooooom!

The mountain shook from the force of the impact.

Lamar quickly tried to put the blob in a headlock. The blob reacted swiftly and using its insane strength pushed Lamar off before he could get the chance.

Lamar using the momentum from the push created space between him and the blob.

Unexpectedly The blob shot out its humanoid arm at Lamar. He tried to dodge but was not expecting to see such an ability. As a result the arm caught him

'Ah shit.' He thought before the blob started swirling his arm in the air smashing Lamar through dozens of trees and rocks.

The blob finally let go sending Lamar soaring into the air straight towards downtown Happy harbor.

Lamar tried to find his balance midair but he couldn't. He ended up hitting the side of a Skyscraper with a loud bang before falling towards a street and landing with a noisy thud.

"Aye,that kinda hurt." He mumbled to himself between breathes.

His white trainer suits top half was ripped showing his undamaged skin underneath.

"I can't damaged it but it can't really harm me either. We are in the city. I gotta minimize the destruction we cause."

Lamar looked around and noticed people staring at him with confusion and shock. Some people started running away immediately taking their family and friends with them. Some teens pulled out their phones and started recording him.

"Aye y'all should evacuate any second now-"

Boooom!

Lamar was cut off as the green blob landed right in front of him destroying the road from its impact.

The green blob picked up a truck with one of its arms and threw it at him.

Lamar was going to dodge but He sensed there was people behind him so he braced and caught the truck with his bare hands. His feet sinking into the concrete as he did so.

"Y'all leave now!" He shouted at the people behind him urging them to run.

Thankfully they complied putting down there phones and running off.

'Dang that was close.', Lamar thought.

Tossing the truck to one side Lamar sprinted towards the green glob. It also doing the same turning into its ball form and rolling towards him.

Lamar quickly lowered his body and kicked the green blob sending it flying straight into the air. Jumping on a nearby car and jumping off of it Lamar instantly reached the height of the green ball and threw a downwards kick.

Booooom!

The kick sent it flying through the air, straight towards another building.

The ball reacted quickly shooting out a arm from its body, the arm propelled towards Lamar. Managing to latch onto his leg.

The arm attempted to hurl Lamar through the air. Lamar reacting swiftly punched at it making the blob let go of his leg.

Dooom!

A loud bang sounded out.

The blob was sent flying into multiple buildings.

"Aye I'm not falling for the same trick twice!" said Lamar with a smirk while he landed back on the ground.

He knew what it was trying to do and Lamar was ready for it this time.

The blob was not harmed at all by the attack and rolled out the damaged building. Speeding towards Lamar's position.

This time however the Ball was even faster closing the distance instantly.

'Shit it's getting faster.' Lamar quickly put his guard up and got flung down the street before digging his hands and feet in the concrete slowing down his momentum.

'It's kinda getting faster and stronger. I can't hold it down or use force. The kinetic energy will only make it stronger. What to do?'

While he was thinking the blob once again was right in front of him it's arm punching out aiming for Lamar's head quickly. He was able to dodge the attack.

'The justice league will send members here in a short while I just need to restrain it and not allow it to harm people.'

Quickly coming up with a plan Lamar decided it was time to test out a power he hasn't used yet.

While He was thinking the Blob landed a heavy blow on his stomach sending him once again rocketing into a nearby bank.

'Lucky shot.' Lamer thought as he stood up and prepared to fight the blob again.

He looked around and noticed about fifty people hiding from the brawl outside in here.

"Damn great."Lamar growled he quickly told the people to leave.

The blob shot through the broken wall and sent multiple arms towards Lamar but so many people were inside the area. He knew they would all die if he didn't stop the attack.

Thinking deeply Lamar lifted his hands up and they slowly started glowing a purplish black color. The blobs body started glowing the same Purplish-black color before being slammed into the ground by an invisible force. The creature used all its strength but was unable to move. Slowly sinking ever so slightly more into the ground.

"It worked." Lamar mumbled.

He was able to control and manipulate gravity to his will.

"Now I just wait for the league I guess."
