Taking Notice of Lamar's presence Martian Manhunter greeted him.

"Hello, My name is Martian Manhunter but you may call me J'onn J'onzz. The other justice league members will soon arrive. I hope we can learn about your situation more in-depth and come to a conclusion." The Martian's voice was very deep and slow.

Lamar nodded his head in understanding and asked in a calm voice "How will the league find out what I am and where I'm from?"

"A Green Lantern will shortly be here and with his abilities, we can find out your origins."

"The league may need to read your memories to make sure you are safe and don't have Harmful thoughts towards the earth and its people I hope you can understand." The Martians Manhunter's voice sounded out again in a steady tone.

"I can't remember anything from before waking up in an alleyway. So go ahead." Lamar replied

Martian Manhunter asked Lamar to recount what happened during his time in the Happy harbor. Listening intently to the young man's story asking some questions here and there.

Booster Gold and Blue Beatle started dozing off. Every so often they would argue with each other in their sleep.

'How can they argue while sleeping?' Lamar thought.

Martin Manhunter ignored them. Already used to the duo's buffoonery.

A calm silence enveloped the room. Lamar turned towards J'onn j'onzz and asked a question that has been on his mind.

"Martian Manhunter why do you and the other heroes protect Earth?"

The Martian Manhunter looked a little surprised at such a random question but took his time to answer it.

"A vast majority of the justice league fight for the earth because it's their home. They have family and friends they wish to protect. Some fight for other reasons such as money and fame."

"What's your reason? Why do you fight?" Lamar asked.

The Martian Manhunter responded after evaluating his thoughts.

I fight because my homeworld was destroyed. Making me one of the last Martians to escape the planet. I do not wish to see earth suffer the same fate so I protect it. But most importantly I met many people. Great people that would put their lives at risk for me. So I do the same for them."The Martian spoke in a steady tone.

What J'onn J'onzz said gave Lamar a lot to think about. Lost in his thoughts self-reflecting.

The Martian stood in silence for a while before speaking.

"It's time. Follow me the other Founding members Have arrived in the briefing room."

Walking down multiple hallways the pair arrived before a large double door. The door slid open allowing Martian Manhunter and Lamar access inside.

Lamar's eyes immediately snapped towards a large Circular Table. Multiple people sat around it.

The main man wearing a blue outfit with a red cape sat in one of the chairs. With a friendly smile, Superman nodded at Lamar.

The next person Lamar noticed was a very gorgeous woman with long black hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a red battle outfit with a blue skirt lined with golden armor. On her head was some type of helmet that held her hair back.

'That must be Wonder Woman.' Thought Lamar.

Sitting on her left was a Man wwearing a green and black outfit. Similar colors to the Green arrow. The color of the gloves on his hands was white. His hair was a dark brown and he had a sarcastic grin on his face.

'That's the Green lantern he looks almost as cocky as Booster Gold.' Lamar thought looking at him.

The last person was giving Lamar a deep glare. Analyzing the kid's every movement. He Had on a black and grey outfit with a black cape falling behind him. A black bat symbol sat on his chest. He had on a black mask only showing his eyes and mouth. On the top of his head were two bat-like ears.

'The one and only Batman.' Lamar concluded.

The other seats were empty.

Martian Manhunter took a seat and told Lamar to take one next to him. Under the gaze of some of the biggest hero's ever Lamer didn't falter and kept his composure.

"So this is the kid that appeared in from thin air right.?" Green Lantern broke the awkward silence.

"Yes, Lamar appear in Metropolis while I was fighting Metallo. Batman has looked at all the camera footage and has evidence of Lamar suddenly appearing in an alleyway. Also, I scanned his body and noticed that he is not human. He has similar physiology to me." Superman broke down the situation for everybody.

"Similar physiology to you? Wait a minute doesn't that mean he is Kryptonian?" The green lantern spoke his thoughts out loud.

"Did you not read the briefing Information?" Wonder Woman asked The Green Lantern.

"Uh... yes? ." Green Lantern muttered while scratching his forehead.

Batman spoke up getting everyone's attention.

"Green lantern we need you to scan his body with your power ring. Getting information on his species will help us assess the situation." Batman's voice was deep and broody getting straight to the point.

"Bats is asking me for a favor? Oh wow, this is a first." the Green lantern sarcastically said before standing up and pointing his fist towards Lamar.

"Hold still for me."Green lantern said with a smirk before a green light shot out from the ring on his finger enveloping Lamar's body. The light moved up and down multiple times before disappearing.

"Mhm strange the kid isn't human. Supes was right the kid shares ancestry with Kryptonians but he isn't one of them. He is a Daxmite." The lantern turned towards the table and announced.

"I've never heard of the race. You said they are closely related to Kryptonians?" Asked Superman with interest.

"From what, the old ring is telling me they are a cousin race of Kryptonians and Have the same powers and gain the same powers under a yellow sun. They hail from the planet Daxim and Were wiped out a couple of thousand years ago." The Green lantern answered with a cocky tone.

"What caused their extinction?" asked Batman with a serious glare.

Green Lantern was quiet for a moment then replied "The cause of their demise is unknown."
