42. Start Of The Operation.
Two Days Later
Amegakure
Team Ajisai explained the plan to Konan. Konan walked to the balcony, seeing a cloud of mist on the horizon. She turned to Ajisai, "You can tell Akira that I will keep the situation under control in the village. If he needs the help of Pain or me, we will be ready."
Ajisai replied, "Angel-sama, he specifically asked me to tell you that you or Pain-sama should not interfere under any condition."
"Of course he would say that," Konan muttered. He was doing the opposite of what he promised. She wondered if she should continue her relationship with him, as it might increase his chances of dying.
"Just come home alive," she prayed in her heart.

A little farther from the village, the united shinobi forces were ready to face the monstrosity. Terumi Mei looked at the steam slowly approaching them and took a deep breath, "It feels just like home."
Akira replied, "You should come visit us. I would love to show you around."
Terumi Mei smiled, "You know, you are a really charming guy, possessing both brain and face."
"Of course, I know," Akira agreed with her assessment.
"But you should choose your target carefully. I can kill you with just a kiss." Mei put her finger on her lips.
"Well, I would like to test that theory," Akira walked closer to her.
"It is about to reach the ambush point. Get ready," Raikage, responsible for locating and transferring info due to the interference caused by the chakra-laced mist produced by Groudon, announced.
"Looks like we will have to delay our experiment. See you again if you survive," Mei gave him a smile and walked away.
'Why me, God? I curse you, whichever god is above us,' Akira was tired of being unable to progress.
"Are you ready for it?" Pakura asked while handing him a massive scroll.
"Well, I always liked to sit in the front seat. There is no way I am going to miss the chance to be this close to the action," Akira replied, clearly excited for the upcoming battle.
The mist reached the ambush point. The Kumo ninjas were using lightning release to speed up the transfer of information. As the white avalanche came closer, the intensity of earthquakes started increasing.
Thump....Thump....
The loud thumping of Groudon's steps increased the nervousness of the troops. Akira adjusted the large scroll hanging on his back. Beside him, Pakura stood with her eyes closed and arms folded. Lu Xiyan stood with his two swords floating around him. Lu Qiye was sitting on an iron chair made of iron sand.
Crackle!
A Kumo shinobi appeared to inform, "We have a slight delay. Apparently, the bijuu stopped 100 meters before the ambush point. What are your orders?"
"It must have sensed the danger. Tell Hokage to use Plan Kick Ass," Akira ordered.
"Hai!" With a flicker of electricity, the Kumo shinobi disappeared into the mist. As he passed by the monster, he glimpsed its eye staring at him. Feeling scared, he used all his chakra to go all out. He reached Tsunade's troop and fell over, tumbling around. The Konoha troops came over to help, and he grabbed one ninja's hand and said, "Report from Akira! Start Plan Kick Ass!" With those words, he fell unconscious.
A Konoha ninja informed Tsunade, who asked about the Kumo ninja's situation. She was told he was only unconscious due to chakra overuse.
She turned back to her troops and commanded, "Get ready for Plan Kick Ass." She felt a little embarrassed with the naming.
"Yeah!" Thankfully, the roar of her troops decreased her embarrassment.
Tsuchikage climbed on Raikage's back, and Raikage activated his lightning chakra mode while Tsuchikage activated 'Earth Release: Ultralight-Weight Rock Technique' to decrease the weight of both of them.
Might Guy readied to sprint and activated the Sixth Gate, releasing a massive amount of green chakra. The two Kage were amazed by his green aura. Onoki told Raikage, "You better go all out. To protect the Kage's name." Raikage increased his chakra output in response.
Tsunade also released her 'Strength of a Hundred Seal.' The diamond seal spread across her face and wrapped around her entire body. She also activated her 'Ninja Art Creation Rebirth — Strength of a Hundred Technique' to increase her regeneration.
A platoon of troops consisting of Konoha and Suna came forward. They all weaved the same hand signs to release the same jutsu.
'Wind Release: Breakthrough'
The massive wind blew away the mist and raindrops, revealing the massive Groudon. The Kage and Guy had a clear line of sight to the back of the Groudon.
They ran straight to it. The first to reach were the Tsuchikage and Raikage duo. Raikage pulled his arm back for the punch. Tsuchikage activated 'Earth Release: Ultra-Added-Weight Rock Technique' to increase Raikage's weight.
BAAAAAM!
The punch caused a massive shockwave, cracking the scales on its back. The force pushed Groudon forward; its massive body slipped forward about 50 meters. Before Groudon could scream, Guy reached its back, his fist burning like a meteor.
BAAAM!
Another impact sent it 30 meters forward. It screamed in pain. At last, Tsunade reached Groudon.
BAAAM!
Her punches ripped apart the scales, causing a massive wound. Tsunade wasn't unharmed; every bone in her knuckles broke apart, but she was able to push it 30 meters over the finish line.
Akira smiled, happy that the first part worked. He turned to look at Pakura, Lu Xiyan, and Lu Qiye and said, "Now it is our time to finish."
