3-Heartbroken

(Alex's P.O.V)

There I saw him locking lips with someone,and the girl was none other than Adrianna ,more like the queen bee and the ultimate bitch,it hurts so much to see him kiss Adrianna,more like kissing someone other than me.I don't understand why he allows other girls to be this close to him when I can't even be near him.Am I that bad that he can't even dare to be in the same room as him?What did I do to make him behave around me like that?Is my worth that low?Am i worse than the girls who throw themselves at him?Am I?

I don't want to cry with everyone around me,and I am sure all his friends saw me looking at him and they will definitely show pity towards me.I saw them looking at me in a way to tell me that they were sorry about their friend and his behaviour. Christopher even looked annoyed so I decided to simply give him a sad smile showing that it's okay and he doesn't have to be angry with his best friend because of this.

"Alex, don't think about it.He is an asshole for doing that to you.I'm sure that he'll regret it one day."Dahlia said trying to make me feel better,but i know that no words will make me feel better right now,when I just saw my crush make out with someone in front of me.

"It's okay you guys,I'll get over it soon"I told my friends giving them a signal that we should drop the topic there.

"Okay,if that's what you want."Dahlia said.

"Hey,what about having a girls' night today?Let's just binge watch,eat and enjoy the night"Cleo said excitedly.

"Awesome idea Cleo"Dahlia said.

"My house.k?"I said trying my best to sound excited.

"Yes!"They said together.

"Which movie should we watch?I heard the second part To All The Boys I've Ever Loved Before has released. It's the continuation of the first one that we already watched before.What about that?"I suggested.

"Awesome that's decided.Now about the food we should have a tons of ice cream and junk food to eat during the movie."Cleo said clearly excited.

"Well yeah....what is a movie night without any of that?"I said finally feeling slightly better at the thought of having my best friends with me.

After lunch we still had two more classes left so I went and threw my leftovers coz I didn't finish my lunch because of the incident.I don't like wasting food because there are many people who don't have anything to eat,but I just can't swallow my food in after what happened.See that's the effect he has on me,I hate it more than anything.The scene just keeps playing in my head again and again,I mean you can't just ignore your crush kiss your worst enemy.I know I am pathetic for letting him affect me this way but, I just can't help it I've already fallen so deep for him that everything he does makes me react .

Once we were done with our classes,and were about to go home, when I felt a hand on my shoulder.When I turned to look up at the person,it was Dave.

"Alex,don't let him ruin your mood.We already scolded him for being an asshole.And it was not his fault,not supporting him or anything but Adrianna was the one who pushed herself onto him before he could react she kissed him"He said trying to console me.

"It's okay you guys don't have give me a explanation,plus he could have pushed her away instead of kissing her.Anyway don't worry it won't affect me for long" I reply trying to convince him.

"He's so stupid.I mean it would be his biggest loss if he lost you.The guy really has to start seeing what is right in front of him"He said.

"I hope I can wait for him till he realizes my feelings for him,and I am not gonna give up on him anytime soon."I said trying to fake a smile.

"I am sure anyone would be lucky to have a girl who is this beautiful,caring,and smart.I know he will have a tough time if someone else tries taking you away."He said wiggling his eyebrows trying to make me feel better.

"Woah I always knew my brother liked you more than me."Cleo said which made me and Dave smile.

"Dave come on we're getting late"Nick shouted from the car,before Dave could reply to Cleo.

"Coming dude,gimme a second"He replied to him.

"Kaygotta go little one,see you later kiddos"He said ruffling their hair andearning groans from the both of them.As the car started moving I saw everyonewave at us from the car,except for Nick.I tried looking at him but · he just ignored me like he knew I was looking and drove off,without sparing a single glance my way.

Once I was home,I went to my room and took a warm shower in a way to relax myself.Once I was done with the shower I decided to change into an oversized shirt and sweatpants.

Since i felt comfortable in those.As I was drying my hair and walking towards the bed I spotted our picture (mine and Nick's)I smiled looking at it and the pain that i felt before came in again.Despite of trying so much I don't know why Nick was hurting me so much,It's almost as if he likes seeing me get hurt.I hope it changes and till then I'll be waiting for you Nick.

Once I was done drying my hair,I went down to get something to eat and I saw our cook making something in the kitchen.

"Hey Aunt Ruth what are you making?"I asked trying to get a peek at the dish she was preparing.

"Oh Alex,you're back I was making some apple pie.Want some?"She asked me.

"Of course.How could I not eat your famous apple pie?"I asked her smiling.

"Is my brother back?"I asked her taking a seat at the table.

"Yeah he came back,but left again to hang out with his friends."She said.

"Oh.....What about dad?"I asked again.

"He said he'd be late tonight since he has a meeting with some important clients of his."She said cutting me a piece of the pie and putting it on a plate for me.

"Here you go honey.Try it."She said encouraging me.

"Mmmmmmmmm.It's so good."I said moaning as I took the first bite.

"I know you like it,so I've made lots this time"She said with a smile.

"Thank You Aunt Ruth . This is why you're the best."I said hugging her.

"Oh Aunt Ruth before I forget,Dahlia and Cleo are coming over tonight."I told her.

"Okay.Then I think I should save some apple pie for them too."She said.

"Yeahhave to save some for them or they'll kill if they get to know that you madepie and I didn't save any for them."I said remembering that one time they were annoyed with me coz I forgot to save them some pie.I mean I don't blame them Aunt Ruth's pies are the best.

Once i was done eating,I thanked her and was getting the stuff ready for our movie night when I heard the doorbell ring.When I opened the door I was greeted by the sight of my two best friends holding huge boxes of pizza.

"What's a movie night without a pizza?"Cleo said excitedly.

"Yeah thanks for getting it.I totally forgot about it oh and Aunt Ruth made apple pie I saved some for you....."Before I could finish they had already rushed off to the kitchen."Okay that was fast"I said speaking to myself.

(skip 2 hours)

"OMG,Peter is so much better,like how can Lara even look at another guy when she has this guy who has everything-looks,personality,looks again I mean what is wrong with that girl." Cleo said."I know right look at his height and his looks.Oh god he is so hotttttt."Dahlia replied.Yeah my friends were annoyed by the fact that Lara was confused with her feelings.

After the movie my friends fell asleep,but since I wasn't getting any sleep I went down to get some water.I was drinking a glass of water when I saw Nick coming inside the kitchen.I started getting nervous.

"Hey what are you doing here?"I asked trying to not sound nervous.

"Uh.I came over to drop Miguel and I felt thirsty so I came in for a glass of water."He said coolly.

"Oh..okay,do you want me to get a glass for you then?"I asked him.

"Umm. Al,did you forget that I know every nook and corner of this house,like my own?"He asked with his eyebrows raised.(A/N:he calls her Al)

"Ohh.Yeah I just thought maybe you....yeah never mind."I said starting to go back upstairs when..

"Al?"Nick calls out to me.

"Yeah Nick,want anything?"I ask him perplexed.

"Nope,umm nothing Goodnight."He said sounding confused at his own words.

"Yeah goodnight Nick."I replied running off to my room to collect my thoughts.Once I reached my room,I shut the door and put my hand on my chest to feel my heartbeat.

Oh my god!What just happened?'Nick said goodnight to you!my mind supplied for me.'

'Okay wait he was he was just being nice to you' my logical side of the head said,but at least he said goodnight.I mean that's a start.

After battling with my mind about what to think about it,I finally close my eyes,drifting into sound sleep.
