Chapter Four : Hostility

Celestia didn't know how long she could keep avoiding everyone around her because school's over and she's going to have to wait out near the entrance where all the other students await for their vehicles to arrive. Fumbling with her earphones, so she could wear them and pretend like she didn't hear anyone, in case they call out to her, Celestia's plans were ruined when she pulled to the side by Arabella. She wanted to slap her hand off her arm because she didn't like a lot of physical contact when her mood wasn't the best, but she didn't want to cause a conflict amongst everyone. Luna and Nolan were standing beside her as they began conversing with Celestia who just wanted to go home already.

"Celestia, something's up. Did we do something ?" somehow that made lit a fire inside of Celestia as she got exhausted with the way people assume that when someone is distant it's on them. She calmly brushed aside Arabella's hand as she gave a dull and nonchalant expression.

"I'm just tired okay ? You guys aren't the problem, just leave me alone"

"Wow, no need to get so annoyed with us Celestia, we are only trying to help-"

"Well it's not working, Arabella. This is fucking annoying. Just let me be for fuck's sake I don't need your goddamn help" the three of them stared at Celestia shocked and she just stood there with the same expression to make a point that their presence was not what she needed at the moment. Arabella immediately stormed off in anger, while Nolan and Luna spared her one glance and went to sooth the riled up girl who probably needed someone beside her. Rubbing her temples in irritation Celestia plugged in her earphones as she tried to calm herself down with more songs by Stay Boys as she tapped her foot anxiously waiting for the car to arrive already. After five minutes of painful waiting, the car had arrived and she launched herself in there as she got the bag full of bricks off her back and stretched, hearing the satisfying sound of her aching bones crack in relaxation. Somehow the song made her connect with herself more and come back to reality as she realized how much of an ass she was to her friends, but she just didn't want to deal with people who thought they understood her. Even after years of maintaining this steady relationship, all everyone said to her was that she was complex.

She was cut off from her thoughts when her phone started to ring, stopping the song she was listening to. Noticing that it was her mom, Celestia picked up the phone, and her mom made her aware of the tuition class that she had in the evening. Gripping the phone in anger, Celestia reached to undo her ponytail so her migraine doesn't worsen and she felt the paper in her pocket shuffle, as she reached for it and took it out. She unfolded the mildly disturbing drawing she drew earlier in the day. Shaking her head she tossed it back into her pocket and continued her song preparing herself to sit in the corner of the class and avoid Luna and Nolan who, to Celestia's dismay, go to the same tuition class as her.

Stuffing her hands in her black hoodie, Celestia rested her head on her palm as she stayed in the back of the class, waiting for the rest of the students to arrive. By some stroke of amazing luck, Luna made her way inside and sat in the middle, two rows away from Celestia. The atmosphere became tense because they were the only two there. Celestia immediately plugged her earphones and played her songs, expressing great interest in the wall to her left and nothing else. Soon after, students started flooding in some of which were known and some of which were unknown, and amongst the sea of students was Nolan who sat by Luna but Celestia averted her gaze back to wall, evading everyone as much as she could. Her hands started to feel rather uncomfortable, as if it just randomly felt itchy and Celestia raked her fingernails over it, which made it felt more itchy and she just kept on scratching continuously as if it was endless. Her focus was brought back to the class when the teacher finally arrived. Looking at how red her hand had become, Celestia pulled the sleeves of hoodie up and covered it. She felt like she was going crazy for a moment.

Trying not to fall asleep, Celestia did her best to keep up with the pace at which the lesson was going, but it was already 9:00pm and it felt like there were weights attached to her eyelashes as she fought to keep her eyes open. She decided to flash the bright screen of her phone in her face, and it did work a little but mostly made her slightly hiss at the extremity of it. Ready to put her phone in her pocket, the sudden vibration, indicating that she received a notification made her look back at her phone. She swiped on it as she realized it was message request and contemplated on whether she should read it or not because lately random people keep trying to hit on her and she wasn't in the mood for such bullshit. Choosing to read it, Celestia felt her heart drop as she almost dropped the phone. The message had two simple words that felt like she was in danger and she wasn't one to be affected by baseless threats, but something about this message was so hostile and she was one to trust her guts, and the familiar churning as if her insides were being twisted, made her realize that this wasn't like the usual messages and something was definitely not going right.

"Found you..." she whispered to herself.

'This is not good'
