I walked back to my room to see her lifeless body with the mask that was helping her breath over her nose. What I saw in her journal and Levi’s words hit me so hard. I wanted to get close to her but I was scared she would wake up and see me. 
I didn’t deserve to be close to her after all I’ve done yet I couldn’t stay away from her. 
I went to the bed and feel on my knees, the tears in my eyes had made my vision blur so I blinked to let them flow freely. 
“I’m sorry Elisa,” I mumbled, my eyes on her burnt hand….the same hand I burnt. Looking at it brought all the memories back and I fucking hated myself. I hated myself for everything I had put her through and I just wanted to put a gun to my head and pull the trigger.

"Dad why would eat her face?" Leandro rushed toward us with Tessa as he forcefully pushed Nikolai away making him fall and he didn't stop there he kicked Nikolai in the shin.

"Elisa are you okay? Did daddy hurt you?" Tessa asked with concern laced in her voice and I couldn't help but do summersaults in my head.

"Yeah I am and no he didn't hurt me. Leandro quit it. He was helping me with something" I said.

"On your face?" I swear this kid is a grown up stuck in a kid's body.

"Yeah, I am not hurt don't worry. Daddy won't hurt me" I said as they looked at me with a weird expression as Nikolai had a small smirk playing on his lips.

"He's not your Daddy so you can't call him that. He is your beast so call him Beast" Tessa said as Nikolai's expression changed to something else.

He is probably wondering what the beast thing meant.

"Beast?" Nikolai asked still sitting on the floor.
