Part 13

"Hey Huntre, wanna join my team?" I hear a voice call out from behind me. When I turn around, I see this purple haired smiley trash-bag approach me. If you couldn't tell, I'm talking about Shinsou. "Sure." Is all I say. I feel something creeping up my back before it seems to plummet completely.

"Really?" He says, turning to look behind him for a second. "Yep, why not." I say, looking behind him to. It seems he's already picked out our other team mates. One guy I don't know and the other I can't remember the name of. I don't know what the first kid's quirk is, but the other guy is in the same class as me, he's the one with the tail. Looking closer, I notice their weird way of staring off into the distance.

So he's controlling them. Wonder if that's what I had felt. "So, which person do you want me to be?" I ask, walking to join the other two behind him. They way they act and look off into the distance kinda gives them away. Hope this dude gets into hero course and learns how to make them not look like zombies.

He goes over our strategy. I decide to just do whatever he wants since he wants to win this and I could really care less. I get placed on the left side, with tail guy on the right, and the other guy in the front.

~Time Skip, brought to you buy the fact that Shinsou's hair literally looks like one of those poof balls you'd hang on a purse~

We had picked him up on our shoulders and he was surprisingly light. Our band, which Shinsou was wearing, was up in the three hundred somethings. We had gone over the plan, him explaining that we'd eliminate ourselves from being targeted, and then strike when they're barely anytime for anyone to strike back. He tried his best to make it seem like this was a group discussion but he was clearly only talking to me the whole time.

When the battle began everyone went running for Zuk's team. Our team ran slower than the others, making sure that we wouldn't get ourselves into any awkward situation where we'd actually have to attempt to swipe head bands. Shinsou have easy directions but I could tell that the brainwashed ones followed them without him even saying anything. We ran about a bit watching the others and waiting for our chance to actually in-act our plan. At one point, our head band was even taken.

11 seconds near the end we fought. Going for TetsuTetsu's team, we took all of their head bands before they could realize what was happening. With only a few seconds left, they couldn't recover.

"In third place is team TetsuTet-..Wait what! It's Team Shinsou, when did they come back from the dead?!" Present mic said when he noticed that TetsuTetsu's team was no longer on top. The others behind me seemed confused but I just stood and smiled along with Shinsou.

I listened happily when Midoriya's team ended up in fourth place. I waved over to them and they waved back

I was laughing as we got back onto the field after the lunch break. The other girls were wearing cheer outfits. I had been made one, but I didn't put it on because I personally hated it. So when it was explained that they had been tricked into wearing them, I could only thank my hatred for short skirts and tight shirts.

When Ojiro went to withdraw, I couldn't help but frown. I was standing beside Shinsou and had heard the whole thing. I had thought that they agreed to join the team and be under control for better team work. I thought that the only reason I wasn't under mind control was because Shinsou was already controlling the others and possibly had a limit.

As everyone tried to convince him to stay and prove he was supposed to be here, I felt guilty. I had known he was under control and didn't think about why, meaning it was partially my fault that he was forced here.

"That's not it. I'm talking about my pride here, and I refuse to give that up." Ojiro said with a hand on his face. I looked at Shinsou to see that he wasn't even looking at what was happening anymore. "Also, why are all the girls dressed like cheerleaders?" Ojiro said, his voice wavering. He kinda sounded like he was embarrassed or about to cry. Him bringing attention to the girls lightened the mood, and everyone seemed to be a bit happier than before.

I then watched as another guy from class 1-B withdrew for the same reason. When Midnight said they were withdrawn, while also saying something about being turned on, I facepalmed.

(A/N: p.s, I'm keeping Aoyama here by saying that he was moved up as one of the students. I'm also bringing up TetsuTetsu like cannon. Sorry vine girl, you were cool but I need to keep you out of the finals so the story can continue.)

Looking at the board, I find my self paired against pikachu boy. I look around before waving to him when we catch each other's eyes. Deciding to go look for the braid hair boy that I had saved in the entry exams, I walk around. Not finding him around, I instead join the scavenger hunt. Flipping over my card, I look around for an egg. I run around the rim, calling out to people asking if anyone has an egg. Eventually an old lady picks up the egg laid down in the seat next to her and sends it down. Being careful, I use webbing to quickly web a little landing pad for it. Then we went on to a two person team game of rolling a giant ball around the track. I didn't do that well since somehow Aoyama kept trying to stand on ours.

Finally, I got a bit of time to search abound more for braid boy. Noticing his hair style in a crowd, I walk over, tapping on his shoulder. When he turns around, he doesn't seem to recognize me. I put my hands behind my back for a second before coming back with the flower made of scales. "Are these yours?" I ask, holding up the flower to his face. He seems surprised by it before rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. "Uh, yeah. I made that. Your the girl from the exams right? Thanks for saving me from that 0-pointer." He says. I smile at him, "Thank you for the beautiful gift. If you don't mind me asking, how'd you make the scales?"

"Oh, those? They're from my quirk." He says, raising his hand in front of me. I watch in fascination as scales grow from his skin to cover it. They're the same shade as the scales of the flower, and they look really pretty in the light. "Your quirk is so pretty, and looks cool too." I say, turning the flower into my right hand and holding up his arm with my left. Using my left arm, i raise it to the sunlight a bit more, smiling when it shines brighter. When I let go off his arm, I turn to walk away, before turning for a second to wave bye.

I watch as Shinsou and Izuku stand in the arena looking at each other. Shinsou's trying to provoke him, only getting him to growl. Finally he says something, and judging from Zuk's reaction, he said something pretty mean. I watch as Izuku stops moving, his eyes going into a blank stare. So that's how that works? He needs the person to reply to him?

I can't help but feel uneasy with them fighting each other. If Midoriya pulls a punch, he could really hurt Shinsou. If Shinsou gets Midoriya to pull a punch, he could end up getting Midoriya to hurt himself. Depending on how this goes, someone could end up really hurt.

I let out a sigh of relief when Shinsou only has him walk out of the ring. Ojiro had warned Deku, and yet here he sat, lost in his brain as he walked. I watched as Shinsou started talking to him. Then when I looked closer at Midoriya, I could feel the small bolts of power coming off in his waves. Something was trying to power up, but it didn't feel like Midoriya. Something flicked and wind was blown across the stadium. Suddenly, Izuku was back, no longer starry eyed and far off. But even from here I could recognize the bruised purple covering two of his fingers. They were broken, completely broken, a side effect of his strong quirk.

Letting out a "whoop!", I stand up and cheer. From here I could see how angry Shinsou was. He eyes had darkened and his face was straining with a growl. He then started to taunt at Izuku, trying to get him to say something. I listened to thing conversation, frowning when Shinsou talked about his quirk and how others treated him. Izuku started to push him backwards, Shinsou getting angrier by the second. When Shinsou started to fight him, Izuku ends up getting his fingers even more hurt. Shinsou was just about to push him out of the ring when Izuku grabbed his arm and judo flipped him over his shoulder. I could practically hear his fingers being smushed so that he could grip Shinsou's arm.

I can only guess Izuku's never done that before, or at least everyone thought he couldn't. The way the other students gape at him betrays their amazement. Shinsou's out of bounds and Midoriya's won the match. I can't help but want to give Shinsou a hug. He looks so unhappy and even when he walks away from the battle he seems to be sad. I watch as his classmates yell encouragements out to him. Smiling, I walk over a bit to where they are and start yelling encouragements too. He seems shocked to see the others. I smile even bigger when the pro heroes behind us start to encourage him. Wow, the people in this dimension really are super nice.

I smile when he pledges to become a better pro than everyone else. You really can't go a second around class 1-A without making yourself a big goal to work towards. I giggle when Izuku replies and gets brainwashed again. When Shinsou finishes giving him some encouragement and releases him, my giggles turn into full out laughing when Izuku responds again and yet again gets stuck under control.

~Time Skip~

I can't help but gape at the giant ice glacier Todoroki makes. It's humongous, reaching so far it goes over the arena. And stuck in the front of it is poor Sero. People start to yell 'Nice Try' to Sero and I sweatdrop at how pitiful this seems. Isn't there a thing like this in Korea, where they yell 'It's ok' when a team starts to lose?
