Extra 2

Crecylla's only train of thought is not to get jealous. They were married, and Cyrus was in love with her, and they would be fine. Nothing bad would happen, and he wouldn't ever cheat on her. Yet with the sight of a golden haired goddess before her, she can't help but think that she pales in comparison. She was so bright, and so pretty, and she was everything that she wasn't. She doesn't like the feeling, so she opts to focus on the task before her.

Cyrus blinks at the girl in front of him, she was pretty, and she looked like the perfect definition of someone who might've been a goddess. Her hair is the same shade of orange as him, and he thinks she might be a phoenix. He's fully aware of how Crecylla feels right now, he knows that she wasn't in a good mood. She didn't like it very much. He couldn't blame her, even he knew that the girl looked perfect.

Crecylla finishes her tasks at hand, and she wanders home to start lunch. Her portion of the work had been done, and all she needed to do for the rest of the afternoon was reply to the letters sent from her lovely sister and Helios. She would write about her stressors in the letter, and she hoped that somehow she could rest at some point.

Cyrus finishes off the conversation with the girl as quickly as he can, and when she asks if she could stay over, he tells her that his wife wouldn't be very happy with that. The girls tells him that she's sure she won't mind. So when he heads home to the little cottage of theirs and is greeted with nothing, he's concerned. He sees that there's two bowls on the table, and that Crecylla had set up the guest bowl. He excuses himself to go find his wife. The girl tags along anyways.

Crecylla shouldn't be jealous. Cyrus wasn't interested, and as she settles in the tree, she writes her frustrations in her diary. She logs her feelings, and her mind is too much of a mess to deal with things right now. She finishes off her diary, and then she signs a handful of things. She gets to the letter to Luna, and she sighs and opts to put no worries on the letter, and she tells her about the wonderful things in the countryside. She describes how the green reminded her of Blossom's eyes, and she also talks about how calm it was.

Cyrus spends 2 hours in the woods looking for her, and he's pretty sure that she was up in a tree. He tells the girl that had been clinging onto him for the past hour to leave him alone, but she doesn't budge. She's just as set on staying with him as he is to find Crecylla. When he finally wrangles free from the girl, he scales a tree like there was no tomorrow. The girl whines, and tells him that she'd stay here for as long as he would stay up there. Cyrus sighs, and he uses the branches as leverage to launch himself into tree by tree to find Crecylla.

Crecylla yawns when she finally finishes. She spots a moving figure in the trees nearby, and she assumes that it was just another villager. She's surprised to see Cyrus launch himself at her, and when he squats on the branch next to her, she smiles softly. The girl chases him, and when she finds that he was with his wife, she whines loudly. Why couldn't she be a mistress of his? He was supposed to be rich, he owned a whole mansion of a cottage, why didn't he want a mistress as pretty as her?

Crecylla bursts into laughter when the blondie complains about Cyrus not wanting a mistress. Cyrus brightens when he hears his lover brighten up again, and he peppers her face with kisses. He was in love with her, and it was as simple as that. It wasn't uncommon for villagers to not take in mistresses, and it wasn't anymore common that villagers simply didn't have the money to have a mistress.

The blonde reminds Crecylla of Cyra. Though the mistress had been much more understanding, despite having dedication issues. Crecylla's laugh makes the girl confused. She wasn't anywhere near as pretty as her, why wasn't he dropping her yet? She didn't even look as pretty as that mistress of the last king's, what was the point in keeping that dark haired witch around?

Cyrus drops a bomb on the girl when he mentions that he simply wasn't into blondies. The girl is offended beyond belief, and she stomps away angrily. She murmurs about how everyone loved her, and how she was destined to be a mistress. She was so close, and if it weren't for the fact that the king had abdicated from the throne, she might've been his mistress. Rumor had spread that the king wasn't into people from another kingdom, and that he had been in love with his lover since the beginning of time. She wanted to replace the queen, and she wanted to be perfect for him. She spent every day dolling herself up, and hoping that a visiting noble would take notice of her. She just wanted a happily ever after that would rival books.

Crecylla laughs, and she gets down from the trees. She catches Cyrus and breaks his fall, and when she notices how bloody and bruised his hands had gotten from swinging from tree to tree, she heads home and helps his hand go back to normal. She murmurs a soft spell, and the moon helps her heal the male. His hand is back to normal quickly, and he holds the girl in his arms. He didn't need a mistress, she was enough.

The cottage was huge, it was spacious enough to fit 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room and a kitchen. They lived comfortably, and apparently this land had belonged to generations of the empire's rulers. The land was for the rulers to stay comfortable, and it had been a popular retirement place. Cyrus wasn't exactly sure how Rigel knew about this place before him, but he didn't mind anymore. He was living there with his wife, and that was enough.

There's a certain sense of peace when Crecylla sits here. She's happy, and she's in love with how gorgeous the place is. She wants to stay here and raise her children, so that they didn't need to do anything else to take care of the place. A dream that seemed so far away, yet a dream so close to her fingertips.
