Misery

Tired, that's the right word to describe how I felt at the moment. Breathing it's self has became a burden.

I feel like I should end it all. I can if I choose to. But what would that make me.

'Zuzu,' someone  shook  instantly ending my train of suicidal thoughts.

I slowly turned to face the person and a scowl replayed my blank expression.

Standing before me was Danny. In other words, he was Dean's best friend. The demon's partner in crime.

At one point I would have been happy to see his vibrant blue eyes and chabby face but right now, he was  the devil in disguise.

Danny is a light skinned, fat, average in height Ugandan man with a really bold head.

He was once my friend but now am not really sure. Because a friend of Dean's is an enemy of mine. Okay maybe am being a little harsh.

I stood up and walked over to him only to scrunch my nose in disgust.

In confusion, he looked down at his plain white shirt to his black sweats accompanied by a set of white nikes. At least he made me feel like I was slightly dressed with my grey adidas sweat pants  and an oversized sweat shirt and bare feet.

'Is there a problem.' asked Danny, but the smell was getting stronger creating an urge to vomit.

When I couldn't take it any more, I quickly sprinted out of  the living room, with one destination in mind, the washroom.

Upon reaching there, I instantly emptied the contents in my stomach into the toilet.

Once I was done, I flushed it  and walked over to the sink to rinse my mouth of the fowl taste.

Everything in here was white except  the black and  white toilet plus sink.

I sat  down on the tilted floor trying to contemplate what has been happening to me.

For the past two weeks since I moved back here, I have been kind of sick. Maybe it's the stress that's finally getting to me.

I haven't seen Trish or anyone since then not even Dean that is until Danny decided to pay me a visit.

'Zion, hey are you ok or something.' Danny  asked while slowly entering the wash room.  His voice was filled with so much concern.

' Am fine'  I told him while walking past him and out of the washroom.

In reality i don't look liké It. Plus thé fact that i don't trust him thé way I  used to. Hé might be faking thé concern.

Thats What they are all good at, pretending.

I continued walking done thé hallway that was also painted white. Gash What is his problem with white i thought.

Maybe its reflecting how empty his life is. Yeah that must be thé reason.

' Hey i know your not fine, so let me take You to sée a doctor.' Danny suddenly spoke  ending my mental trance.

Not wanting any of his help, I rudely declained his offer.

It was after thirty long tortuerous mintues that I  finally gave in. Because I needed to find a way to prove that Dean is a murderer .

I will not have him walk  free. And What better way to do it than stay close to thé one person he trust's.

'Come on' i said while putting on some

Sandals and walking out of the flat through thé front door , which am already guessing , You Can tell is white.

Danny tried his level best to start up small conversation, but I completely ignored his attempt which he noticed. Not that I was even hiding it.

He lead us to the direction of his black Mercedes Benz but judging from the way I reacted to his scent earlier, he asked if we could use one of my cars. They are actually Dean's but you get the idea.

Seeing as it was in my best interest, I decided not to give him a hard time  by leading him to the car garage to pick one.

With him hot on my heals, I opened the garage which  had a black door and white interior. I made a mental note to repaint some parts of the house. Everything can't be in white and black only.

'Hurry up and pick a car of my choice.' I spoke breaking the silence.

He turned and looked at me with nothing but fury, not that I can blame him seeing as I have been really irritating.

He lifted his left hand and rubbed his really, really bold head as if that would help in some way.

Deciding to taste the waters a little, I took two steps closer and smacked him on the arm real hard. That hungered him but it left me with a some satisfaction.

Then quickly walked over and picked  the red Volvo.

'That's the car your going with, really.' he said in a really annoyed tone.

I just raised my eyebrows and asked him if he had anything better to pick because I was getting tired of his presence. That shut him up for the time being.

We got into the Volvo, I decided to seat in the back due too my earlier reaction to his fowl scent. Disgusting,  how can someone smell so bad. I  couldn't help but think.

While I was lost in my little world i managed to hear a small but important part of Danny's conversation with me not that I was even paying attention to him anyways.

Wait! what did you say I asked him. He just stared at me in disbelief.

Did you just say you saw Zayn like as in Zayn Machar. This is unbelievable why is he telling lies. Like as in.

So this is what it has come to Dean trying to convince me that Zayn is out there. What's his game plan.

I didn't even notice the car had come to a stop until Danny tapped the window of the door signaling me to get out.

Once I was finally out, Danny and I started to walk to the entrance of IHK which stands for international hospital of Kampala. When I spotted an olive skinned petite woman whom I have been avoiding for ever.

The one other person in this whole wide world who loved Zayn with all her heart. Hanning Ajong, Zayn's favorite sibling.

And that's when my luck run out. Because at the exact moment I saw her, she too spotted me.

And let me just say, we might have some mutual love for Zayn but she hates me so much I think it physically hurts her. For what reason, am not entirely sure.

A scowl replaced her once bored expression. And she chose that very moment to walk up to me.

Oh crap that's all I thought as I saw her match in my direction with nothing but a hostile look.
