Castle Black

Last Hearth, 291 AC, Alisa Mormont POV.

It has been three weeks after the Mormont host departed from Winterfell, Alisa decided to go to the Wall. But they first stop at Last Hearth, the Ancestral seat of House Umbers. Ah gods, Alisa doesn't want in a table with those crude mouths giants, but she doesn't have a choice. Not visiting a House is considered disrespectful.

Before departing at Winterfell, Alisa sent a raven to Bear Island, of Maester Alwyn, to send men and supplies to Castle Black, which include fur-clothes and grains. It will be the sweetener of the deal, along with the Longclaw. She really hops to get the land of the Gift, because that piece of land is where she can plant the seeds from the Hightowers. The gift will divided into six sectors.

The Food sector, which will occupy to sectors of land, the western side of the Gift. One land will consist crop rotations of root crop; potatos, carrots, onions, garlics and many more. The other land will have the grain crops; wheat, barley, oats, rye, but the rice from Yi Ti could be offered to the Reeds because they have their marshes to plant rice. This sector can cover also the feed crops for the animals, and fiber crops, for paper and cotton products.

The Beast sector, which will be tending to animal husbandry for their meat, milk, leather, eggs and fibre. This will consist of barns for cows, bulls, goats, sheep and boars, all grass-fed animals for much natural cultured livestock. Poultry for chicken meats and eggs, all free-ranged for natural nutrients, especially a live turkey was found from Summer Isles came to Bear Harbor. This will have the eastern side of the gift, by the Bay of Seals. This sector can cover the manures and bone meals fertilizers for the food sector.

The Product sector will be factories of making products got from Food sector and Animal sector. Flours from wheat-barley-oat grains. Papers and ropes from hemp fibers, not the addictive one. Wine factory and distilleries making wines, whiskey, vodkas from grapes, barley, potatoes. Fur and leather for making Northern outer clothes, while cottons and hemp fibers for making Textile Northern smallclothes and ship sails. And flax's stem and roots for more additional linens.

But enough of it, Alisa will face another challenge, sitting with the Umbers.

Mole's Town, 291 AC, Alisa Mormont POV.

"It wasn't all that bad, is it? Smalljon is big and gruffly, but sure he has some good qualities too." Big Harry said.

Senna scowled, "Then, maybe you can marry him. A bear and a giant, buggering in on the arse."

Small Harry laughed, clutching his stomach, "I'd bet to see that in my lifetime."

Big Harry growled, "Maybe I'll crush your life, small bear."

"Enough! I'll kill your horses, if it means to shut you up." Alisa is frustrated. She is waiting for another Mormont host to deliver her requested supplies and men, honorable men. "Magnar will be here any minute."

"How would you know, Lady Alisa? Don't see any horse hooves or carriages in the distance." Big Harry said.

"Because they know what I'm going to do with them should they be late." Alisa said simply.

Later that day, Magnar is leading the host toward Mole's Town, and saw his Lady Alisa's blackened face. A big gulp of fear he swallowed, he faced the Bear of a woman, saying, "La-Lady Alisa, I've come to deliver your request."

"And you've come to face your punishment?" Alisa raised her eyebrow.

Fear welled up in his chest, but he said anyway, "We-we've faced a mountain people on our way here, my Lady." He fell to his knees, continuing, "We have done the best we could, my Lady. Our horse's limp from the harsh ride here."

Alisa gave a small chuckle, but smile did not come to her face, "Mormonts do not say any excuses, Magnar. On the morning, you'll strip your furs and hoe the nearby village's farm ground. You'll tell your reason of helping, saying that you could not help but feel inspiration from farmer's life. Do you understand?"

Magnar sighed, "Yes, my Lady."

"Good. We'll pick you up after leaving Castle Black." Alisa went to the host.

Small Harry gave an ale to Magnar, along with some bread, saying, "Go on, you'll need it, Mag." He gave a chuckle, with Magnar grunting but took the offering.

"Senna, check the supply lines, and make it sure it has five carriages of food and furs." In which Senna nodded and went away to check.

Alisa rounded the additional men, "I have pick you, my people, to ask you, will you join the Watch, honor your oath of you took it, and guard the realms of man?" The crowd silenced, not expecting the request of their Lady, to commit themselves beside the worst people of Westeros to freeze their balls. Alisa continued, "The once prestigious order... are filled with murderers, rapist, thieves and many more vile crimes they call themselves, only few people honorable joined, too few to maintain the strength of dishonorable ones, too few who guard the Wall and keep watch for wildings. Will you join the Watch, and teach those green boys to shape? To protect the North from Wilding invaders? To sacrifice yourselves for the good of the realm? It is your choice."

"We'll arrive to Castle Black in two days. You have two days to decide."

Castle Black, 291 AC, Alisa Mormont POV.

"Niece." The Lord commander of the Night's Watch is baffled from the surprise visit from his last relatives. Last he saw her, was the burial of her sister, Maege, and the soldier who died on Greyjoy Rebellion. But still, he is happy to see her again.

"Uncle Jeor." Alisa gave a small smile, lunging him for a hug.

"I'm very happy you visited me, but this is no place for a girl... or a woman, you're a woman, Alisa." Jeor kissed her forehead, kneeling to see her face closer, "Why are you here, Alisa?"

Alisa shuffled her back, brought out the sheathed Longclaw. Jeor was wide-eye when he saw it, he then looked at Alisa and nodded, "Let's talk to my solar."

Alisa nodded, and turned her attention to Big Harry, "You're in charge while I'm away." Before following her uncle.
