Melodic Massacre

°What many sailors believe to be the song of sirens, is typically the mating call, or warning call of a Melodic Massacre

°Melodic Massacres appear to be made of water, but that is simply an optical illusion. In reality their scales reflect the ground they are on, which is typically in the water.

°Melodic Massacres will eat anything that has a heartbeat, but are not scavengers, so they will only eat live prey, that they themselves have hunted.

°These dragon's genders cannot be told apart by humans, but it is apparent that these dragons have mating rituals, so there must be multiple genders.

°There are both freshwater and saltwater Melodic Massacres, which will not cross breed.

°Just as saltwater Melodic Massacres are confused with sirens; some freshwater Melodic Massacres are confused with lake monsters. A prime example is the Loch Ness monster.

°Winter is mating season for Melodic Massacres, and both males and females sing a beautiful song to try and find eachother.

°During mating ritual, a Melodic Massacre will swim up to twenty miles away, and the dragon that has followed it the closest from the start is chosen as a partner. They swim closely together and spin against eachother in unison in a type of dance. If one of the dragons makes a mistake in the dance, the whole process is started over again.

°Their body shape resembles that of a Elasmosaurus (Aquatic dinosaur with a long neck and fins. Found in the late Cretaceous period)

°Dragon ladies never raise these dragons, as they can only live underwater. Thus their eggs are never gathered.

°There is still little known about these dragons because they can live in the depths of the ocean that humans couldn't possibly survive in, and are quite difficult to see, given their reflective scales.
