The 8 celestial orbs

"Hey there. I'll get straight to the business. The cheetah has been ripping through our solar cell farms and a few sad people who used to manage and maintain the farms. It frequents the arid land and caves near there. We're hoping that you won't have to kill, but instead contain it/neutralise it."


"And why do you want to do tha-" Astrid questioned him, before Roshi shook his head.


"You have any equipment to do that, as this was quite obviously not stated in the mission quota."


"We were able to grab some sedatives, some rope and a net."


"We are dealing with a rupture, with some ne-" Roshi discreetly kicked her. 


Roshi breathed, taking the equipment. We'll get on it.


They walked over to the arid area of the town, Astrid kicking rocks all the way.


"Why the heck we gotta capture this damn thing. If they come and say it's our fault that they die after they finish the job, I'm going to absolutely tear them apart."


"The plan remains. In fact, it might be easier. You'll be running ropes all around the place, limiting its movements. Cut it up, but don't go for the finale. Never said what condition they want it in."


A few moments later they spotted it. The cheetah lay on the ground, licking it's claws, eyes glowing with a soft red. Seeing them, it sprang upwards and rushed towards them.


"Let's lead it back to the cave then. If you could draw it's attention for now, I can set up in the cave."


Astrid nodded. She flicked out her weapon: Hardship, and dashed forward.


When Astrid was in range, the cheetah whipped out its tail, slashing at Astrid's side. Hardship dug into the leg of the cheetah, but not deep enough. Astrid smiled, jumping upwards and dashing away, with the cheetah following close behind.


Flick, Flick, Flick, Flick ,Flick. The cards were separated around the cave. He picked up the rope. "I'm ready. We'll get that wound fixed afterwards." Roshi shouted.


" One thing mate, how the heck do I use this thing?" Astrid shouted back.


"Think Zero gravity trampoline. For a bit the cheetah will be in disarray. Use those moments to your advantage." Roshi said while Astrid grabbed the rope and rushed into the cave.


The cheetah, rushing close behind turned to Roshi, who consequently rushed in the same place.


Just when it was gonna catch up to Roshi, he smiled, and Astrid appeared from the cave flying forward, Hardship at the forefront. The cheetah only just dodged, getting scraped on the head. 


Astrid got closer to the next card of Eternal blasting fate, and propelled off the force of repelling energy slicing against the beast again.


Slice. Wrap. Slash. Entwine. Stab. Twirl. Faster and faster and faster. Misty blood was littered across the floor. The cries of the beast wailed throughout the deserted area. Astrid chuckled, enjoying herself.


"Don't kill it Astrid. They want it at the edge, not gone."


Roshi sat down in the cave, lavishing in the great show of this one sided beatdown. A thought of "Too easy." crossed his mind, before a growl was heard to his right, and a cheetah punched towards his face.


Personality: Calm and collected. Enjoys a nice bit of fun.
