My name is Harley Hunter. Now I already told you how Harley is one of the few kids who got away from one of the secret government facilities, but I never told you how she and her friends got there in the first place or how they got out or what the L.O.P does? or what does L.O.P even stand for? or... well I think you got it. Well then I'll start from the beginning, my start of a new beginning.
Today was the day! Harley was being sent to the orphanage, which she hated obviously. A week ago Harley had lost her parents to a fire and sadly was the only one who had survived. Since Harley ws fourteen years old by law she couldn't take care of herself apparently and since her only other family Auntie Sue Strong and her husband had also died, she had no relatives to take care of her since the so called "Hunter Family fire tragedy" where she lost her family.
So now Harley is on the way to some lovely orphanage somewhere in country side of New Jersey where she is gonna be treated like Annie but never end in such a good place as she did for a matter of fact. Harley just hopes she doesn't end up at the Harvey Loved Children's Orphanage I mean like who would want to end up there out of all the orphanages they would end up in it had to be one where kids were disappearing like ghosts. Harley was still kind of freaked out about how that scary-old orphanage never closed down yet.
When the car had came to a stop Harley knew she had arrived at an orphanage that was available to take in a new kid. Harley screamed inside when she saw the orphanage. Apparently, that one available orphanage just happened to be The Harvey Loved Children's orphanage that she would have to spend most of her life... wait nope! scratch that she changed her mind she is running away, and that's exactly what she tried to do note the word "try." The driver of the car caught Harley right before she could make a run for her life straight out of the gates to the orphanage. Harley waited for about three minutes for some lady to come out; she was fat and had some weird glasses, she reminded her of a more uglier version of the bad principle in Matilda. The lady's name was Ms. Averno, she told her to "follow her," so she did. She gave Harley a tour of the orphanage and it was definitely worse than she thought, even Annie can't compare to this. At the end of the tour she gave Harley the rules. Then she lead Harley to her assigned room number; room number 107. Harley then went to bed that day and the next day planned her escape.
