What Is Seen Cannot Be Unseen

I counted eight beings, grey, and ghost-like in appearance, with mouths covering almost the full breadth of their faces. Hundreds of razor-sharp teeth were protruding out to the point where even the warmest of smiles seemed terrifying. Not only that, their naked bodies were stick-thin and featureless, making the Ingara appear so much more menacing.

I quickly hid my misgivings, though; knowing what they had just done for me, how could I greet them with anything less than kindness. I thought back to my guide's first question and realised why it had been asked. Gwenvere wanted to know how I would treat other Ingara when I encountered them in their natural forms.

'It is a pleasure to meet you, Gwenvere.'

'Likewise, Jake Goodwin,' When my guide spoke, her entire face contorted, with every word causing her mouth to split wide. 'How do you feel?'
