Ten Minutes...

I couldn't recall the last time I'd eaten a gourmet beef burger, but it seemed like a lifetime ago. The steam was so rich with flavour that my mouth was watering. A sudden pit of hunger opened in my stomach, a need that was so profound that I felt my eyes watering.

So much for not wasting time; I needed to use my gift of Insight, but the chef had found my weakness. Oh, hell. Five minutes won't hurt.

I wanted to savour the moment, so for that first bite, I slowly sunk my teeth into the seeded bun, eagerly awaiting the moment I found the meat inside.

Maya sniffed at the food on her plate, and after only a few seconds, she wolfed the green pasta-like offering down before waving to the Ingaran chef. 'This is incredible, but how did you know what I could eat?'

The chef laughed. 'All part of the job, besides, it'd be bad for business if an entire team were to take I'll after visiting my establishment.'
