A Day With Friends (1)

After grabbing their horses from the stable, Alex and Diana rode down to the town to meet the others apparently they won't start working on preparations for the war until tomorrow.

When they arrived in town they found a local stable where they can store their horses while they're here. Then the two of them walked around town looking for the other four. It's beautiful here there are little stalls with jewlery, weapons, clothes, different ranges of food, writing equipment and more.

"Although we're at war people try to keep on working and make places like this where people can come to have fun or just buy things. It helps lift the moods of lots of the knights and gives them a place to come and relax." Alex explained too Diana.

She just continued looking around at their surroundings. You can see the joy here from everyone even though their at war, it's nice.

People stopped and stared at them, with girls giving Alex longing looks and glaring at Diana because of how close she seems to be to him, while not caring and having a nonchalant attitude towards it. While men look at her with longing looks and give Alex murderous glares for having the same attitude about it that Diana does. No one approached them though, their nonchalant yet dangerous auras warding them off.

"Hey you two!!!" Maddy beamed jumping up and down to get their attention.

"Hey," Alex said waving back as they got near.

"Took you long enough," Kylo moaned.

"We didn't take that long Kylo," Alex protested.

"Where are we going first?" Hunter quickly intervened knowing they'd continue this for ages.

"Not sure," Crystal replied "is there anywhere you want to go Diana?" she asked.

"No," Diana answered plainly.

"Ok then, I know where to go," Maddy beamed before grabbing Dianas and Crystals hands and pulling them along with her and into a shop with the boys following close behind.

Once inside Diana saw dresses and shoes and clothes of all sorts lining the walls.

"Oh, no." Diana murmured under her breath.

"Isn't this place awsome?!?!" Maddy exclaimed with excitement.

"Yeah, it totally is!" Crystal agreed before they were both off rummaging through different clothes and shoes.

Diana quickly joined the boys who were just leaning against the window.

"Aren't you going to join them?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah, you did say that your of noble birth." Kylo agreed and they all looked at Diana with inquiring looks.

"I might be of noble birth but that doesn't mean that I find joy in clothes or jewellery or shoes," Diana answered nonchalantly and leaned against the window just watching the girls.

"Come on Diana," Maddy said a while later grabbing Dianas hand and pulling her towards the changing room she heard the boys chuckling behind her. Inside the changing room they'd put clothes for Diana to try on.

"Try them on," Crystal said on the other side of the curtains. Diana guessed it was just wish full thinking that they'd leave her be she thought before sighing.

She picked out a long, skin tight, rose red, sleeveless dress with intricate gold decorations on it, with it she put on a pair of rose red high heels.

After stepping outside the changing room the girls beamed at her beauty and the boys eyes went wide.

"You look gourgous!" Maddy beamed.

"I totally agree," Crystal agreed with Maddy "you look stunning!"

"Try on another," Maddy said excitedly.

"No thank you," Diana politely declined.

"Come on, please!!" She begged.

"No," Diana said a little more forcefully.

"Fine," after five minutes of debating they both gave in and she went and changed back to her normal attire.

Diana walked back over to the boys as the girls continued to hunt through the clothes before they could say anything she gave them a side long look warning them against it.

After another half an hour they finally left the shop and entered another one with little trinkets that the others loved and rummaged through while Alex and Diana stood on the side watching.

They then entered another shop that even Alex enjoyed full of books, writing supplies, jewellery, make up, paints, little trinkets, and all sorts. Diana just stood off to the side watching them as they enjoyed themselves.

"Nothing catch your eye?" The shop keeper asked Diana a smile on her face. She seems to be no older then sixtern and has shoulder length black hair.

"Not really," Diana answered truthfully.

"I see," she replied before walking off and coming back with an elegant and beautiful hair ornament but it also seemed to be a weapon "this seems more your style," she smiled "It's made to look like a hair ornament but is sharp enough to kill." She explained handing it to Diana. It's silver with a diamond at the top and a little sphere attached onto the diamonds top at the bottom it's as sharp as any blade. It looks just like a normal hair piece though, Diana smiled at this. "The sphere at the top comes of and the diamond it's self is actually a vile which you can store any poison or antidote in." She continued to explain the look in her eyes however told Diana she knew something.

'She couldn't know, could she?' Diana wondered to herself.

"Is it not to your liking?" she asked Diana.

"No quiet the opposite actually,"

"That's good to hear," she beamed obviously happy with Diana's response.

"How much is it?" Diana asked.

"For you? It's free," the shop keeper assured.

"I couldn't possibly..."

She quickly cut Diana off "I can tell we'll be good friends so take it as a gift from one friend to another."

She explained although Diana doesn't want to take it without paying she doesn't want to upset her either "Ok, thank you. Miss..?"

"Oh, my names Esme my parents own the store," she explained "and you are?"

"I'm Diana," she answered "nice to meet you."

"Hey Diana you ready to go?" Maddy called out to her waving from where the others are all standing.

"Maddy," Crystal scolded "she's talking to someone."

"Sorry," she apologised to her.

"Your friends are waiting for you, I'll see you later." Esme waved goodbye before heading over to another customer.

Diana headed out towards the others putting the hair accessories away.

"Who were you talking to?" Kylo asked when Diana reached them.

"The shop owners daughter," she answered nonchalantly.

"Let's get something to eat," Alex said gorging that Diana didn't want to talk about it further.
