After getting washed up this morning and eating breakfast with Alex and his family Dians headed over to the palaces library to research her parents as well as Fortis and Noblis.
'Maby I'll be lucky enough to find some information on my parents,' Diana thought inwardly as she opened the door to the library. Shelves tower above her inside with row after row of books of all kinds. There's a second floor to the library with even more intresting books on all types of subjects.
In the center there's a long oak table with chairs scattered around them with crimson red pillows. The light is made to help you with reading not to dark or to bright it's just the perfect light.
Diana searched through the rows of books searching for what she needs. Books on flowers no, books on foreign languages helpful but not what she needs right now, books on animals could be useful in the future but not what Diana needs at this moment in time.
Diana continued searching through the shelves of books until she finally found some books on what she's looking for.
Books on relations between the three kingdoms, war tatics, on this war ,on weapons as well as books on all three kingdoms individualy.
Diana carried the stack of books in her arms over to the table and sat down as she began to read the books starting with relations between the three kingdoms. After hours of reading she still hasn't learnt anything to helpful however, she knows from past experiences that nothing is ever completely useless.
Everything has a perpose. Everythings important and necessary.
After finishing the books she went and put them away before grabbing another stack of books and reading through them as well. Some stored new knowledge and others had knowledge that Diana already know.
'This is intresting so all three kingdoms were extremely close I already knew that I just didn't realise how united they were but that all changed roughly fithteen years ago when the war between Fortis and Noblis broke out. Malum separated themselves from the other two kingdoms and the war when it broke out.' Diana read the context of the books in her head as to not disturb anyone else 'But none of these books say why the war broke out how frustrating,' she thought.
'Let's see if any of these books can provide any more insight into the three kingdoms or this war,' Diana thought with a sigh as she continued to read the books she has on the table. 'There aren't to many books on this war I'm not to surprise at that but there are still more books on the subject then there are in Malum atleast.'
Diana's been here for hours and it doesn't feel like she's ever going to find what she needs.
'What could have possibly started this war?' she wondered 'From what I've found out today they were extremely close friends, so what could have caused this war?' Diana was lost in deep thought with this 'there has to be a reason, but what is it?'
While Diana was deep in thought contimplateing this she didn't pay much attention when she heard the door to the library open and was only woken from her thoughts when she heard Alex speaking to her.
"I was wondering where you got to, no one saw you today and you weren't training. What are you doing anyway?" he asked as he came over to the seat next to her and sat down.
"Just researching," Diana answered nonchalantly as she began to continue reading the book in front of her.
"Oh, what are you researching?" he asked intruged.
"Some old history on all three kingdoms as well as battle tatics and weapons as well as a few other things," Diana answered as she finished her book and picked up the pile of books in front of Alex. Walking over to the shelves to put them away Alex followed soon after her.
"I'm guessing you haven't found what your looking for?" he said all to knowingly.
"No I haven't yet but I will,"
"Do you want a hand? Maby I can help,"
"Actually maby you could," Diana said reliseing Alex will probably know quite a bit about this war he has grown up with it after all. "What do you know about the war?" she asked as she put away all the books and then searched for some new ones to research.
"Quite a bit, is there anything in particular you want to know?"
"Do the king and queen of Noblis or Fortis ever enter the battlefield?" she asked curiously.
"Well they don't unless it's necessary however, once every year on the same day every year the king and queen of Noblis enter the battlefield demanding 'her' back but they never say who this 'her' is. My parents enter the battlefield to try and find out who this 'her' is and to try and stop the war but it never ends with either side getting what they want." He explained to her.
"Hmm," Diana just hummed in achnowlegment to this so this war supposedly started by them wanting to get someone back and they believe Fortis took this 'her'.
"There's not much else really the wars been at a constant standstill with no one gaining the upper hand it's been that way for years now each Kingdom quickly counters the others move. Neither gaining the upper hand for even a single second," he explained to her further "I'll leave you to it," Alex said before leaving Diana in the library with her research.
As she pulled out another book something she said to the others cam to mind 'the queen had a supposed miscarriage,'.
'Wait, I also remember my parents speaking about this and how Noblis thought Fortis kidnapped their daughter, where as everyone else thought the princess of Noblis died,' Diana thought to herself 'Maby they did start the war to get their daughter back, but then why say that Queen Ava miscarried?' she thought as she quickly put back the book and looked for any information on the royal family of Noblis as well as the kingdom of Noblis in general.
