Cracked.

Minnie watched the house as the body was taken out of the house on a stretcher in black coverings. An ambulance had just left with Marzia, the child in it.

The house was silent, in spite of all the people in it. The furniture was ruined and evidently, it was on purpose. The stuffing from the couch was pulled out and ripped with a knife. The wood from the tables and chair was cut into crudely with a knife. Almost like someone wanted to show that they had desecrated the house on purpose.

As Minnie walked through the house, she saw the slashed pictures that were tossed to the floor and realized that they hadn't desecrated his house, they destroyed the life that he had built.

She shook her head, feeling bad for the wife and child who were seemingly innocent.
