Her brows raised when she realized that Minnie had lied to him and then used the lie to get him to agree and open up," Gutsy" she muttered to herself knowing that Salvatore wasn't fond of such techniques.

Chiara leaned back in her seat and wondered why Minnie hadn't climbed up the ladder yet. She was smart, resourceful and very level-headed. She hadn't really seen the girl have any sort of overly emotional reaction like herself.

Looking back she realized that she was indeed a very emotional person, which she had never thought about herself. Chiara told herself that she should work on it... Emotions rarely brought anything good.

Her house was blanketed in darkness, and she was on her phone whose light was dim.

She was dressed comfortably in a loose t-shirt and shorts and walked around the house, to the kitchen to get some food.
