Unstable Truth

"W-what… what just happened?"

Was a stammering there, a timbre of his voice speaking out loud his bafflement. As if his own eyes were playing a trick on him, he was less certain about what just happened before his own sight. No, certainly it wasn't a mere illusion—however that was what his body was trying to tell him so. For there was weight in his swing, with a sweaty yet sturdy grip swinging the copper sword slipped through a person's exposed neck. Feeling the copper sword's heaviness; feeling its dull edge saw through the person's flesh and neck bones with great force behind his grip – in fact, still trembling were his grip once the ordeal was done… of beheading someone's head,

And yet what trembled him more than a shaky hand was the aftermath – the fact that it was devoid of any impact; devoid of blood spurting and a head rolling out,
