Drogon The Immortal

There is so many goblins in here, what the hell is going on, Uriel couldn't help but think that this mission was meant for a higher level team and the minimum was probably meant for 2 people at least level 20 or better. Guage and Uriel had already managed to dispatch 100 goblin foot soldiers each. They had each reached level 5 and were close to reaching level 6. Guage put his stats from lvl 4 and lvl 5 to strength making his damage go up another 18 points. He was also able to level up his Holy Invulnerability to level 1 from 0

Holy Invulnerability lvl 0>1

invulnerable for 5 sec. > 10 sec.

12 mana > 20 mana

Uriel used his stat points to lvl up his agility and intelligence going from 14 agility to 17 and raising his intelligence from 13 to 16, with his skill point he leveled up his Holy hammer Strike again.

Holy Hammer Strike lvl 1>2 instant strike within melee range

damage 200% of str. + vit.> 225% of str. + vit.

8 Mana > 8 Mana

Uriel motioned for Guage to follow him, they had been in the dungeon for an hour now, with out running into any bigger enemies. Uriel was beginning to wonder if the two trolls at the entrance would be all the trolls they would have to face. Uriel could see that just up ahead the cave they had been in was about to widen into a room. Carefully they made there way to the edge of the entrance. In the room there was about 20 goblins and a stair case on the other side. Suddenly Guage's voice came through the chat, startling Uriel.

" Look at the 5 goblins on the east side of the room. They're elites, are they going to be harder to deal with?" Guage had a good eye, Uriel had been to busy looking at the treasure chest in the west corner, he thought they'd never find one." What's the difference between the foot soldiers and the elites?" They weren't close enough to see there stats yet they could only read the elite above there head so Guage looked to Uriel since he was familiar.

"The elites are definitely a tougher opponent I can't remember their exact stats, but they pretty much double the foot soldier in every way also they have an actual defense, I think if we get a little closer we could see their actual stats, we just have to be careful not to alert them just yet. The elite are smarter, also they are a little cold blooded they'll sacrifice a foot soldier just to get a good shot in on you. Come on let's see if we can make it to that rock out cropping just inside the room there." Uriel started to move trying not to make any sound, Guage move right behind him.

" Well they are going to be a lot harder to deal with, the foot soldiers barely hit for more then our armor value, these guys unlike the trolls we faced earlier aren't slow we are definitely going to take damage. Do you think you can tank the foot soldiers by yourself?" Uriel asked Guage hoping that he would nod, at that point Uriel realized how valuable Guage was. " I'm going to be starting a guild, sure could use a guy with your skills, what do you say?" The question caught Guage by surprise but he quickly regained his composure.

"Yes I can definitely take out the foot soldiers they've become really predictable and easy to kill. As for joining you I would have some conditions, well actually only one condition." Uriel looked at Guage, but before Uriel could say anything Guage said, " You have to accept my friend as well she's a mage but only a beginner and she'll be eaten up with out the proper guidance. Think on it, now lets go pick a fight." Guage smiled and walked out into the foot soldiers, as he got close he started to dance between them blocking, dodging and flattening them as he went.

Not for the first time Uriel wondered who exactly Guage was, as he was fighting right now was on another level from his earlier fights. Uriel just smirked and ran at the elites. His only thought was to keep the elites busy and to try not to die while Guage took out the foot soldiers, Uriel was aiming for the elites heads hoping to cause confusion debuff's. His timing had to be perfect the elites only had minute openings. As Guage continued his dance of death with the foot soldiers, the elites where starting to hit Uriel in under a minute they had already chipped away a quarter of his life he didn't know how long he could hold out, it was time to activate his heal spell as it was at lvl 2 it would heal 5pts/sec and would cost 2 mana/sec.

Uriel was dodging enough to keep his life steady, while still chipping away at the elites life. Two minutes had past since the battle had started and Guage had eliminated about half of the foot soldiers and Uriel had finally caused a confusion debuff on one of the elites greatly reducing the damage and opening up the timing for Uriel to counter attack. Suddenly Uriel leveled up, his life and mana jumped back to full. He quickly deactivated his heal spell, taking the opportunity to conserve some mana. He didn't know how many floors this dungeon had, but he was betting on there being at least three They'd probably level up a couple more time if that was the case but on the off chance that the stairs led to the boss then they would need every extra point of health and mana they had.

Suddenly Guage was by his side all the foot soldiers had been taken care of. Seeing Guage work earlier Uriel decided is was time to stop playing around as well. With Guage there and his perfect timing on blocks, Uriel started to aim for the more tender spots of the elites going for ankles and elbows anywhere there was exposed flesh, this was a tactic he had used in Celestial when he was a low level assassin. It worked really well then and it seemed to work really well now as he was doing critical damage every other hit. Between him and Guage the elites didn't stand a chance.

" I accept." Uriel didn't need to see anymore, whether his friend was a beginner or not, clearly Guage was an expert and all guilds needed experts." Now shall we see what's in that treasure chest?" Guage's eyes lit up, their first treasure. " I don't think treasure chests are fixed so I think I'd better open it." Uriel stood in front of the chest and opened the lid, there was three things in it the first was

Blacksteel Armor-Rare

Required level 10 to equip

Def 100 Durability 50/50

Enchanted with speed enchantment speed increased 15%

Blacksteel Armor is Relic from the Mystogon war, most knights had a set, and the enchantments cast on had a wide variety functions.

The Second was a steel sword, however it was of the common variety. This pleased Uriel he only needed one more common weapon to upgrade his hammer, and he'd probably get it from looting the bodies of the goblins. The third was a Parchment, written on it was a warning Beware Drogon the Immortal, with a drawing of a massive troll and underneath was Signed the Royal Court Magister Ames Treneane. It was a bit dusty so Uriel blew on it, as he did this lines began to connect and the parchment started glowing.

" Hello, Onze it's about time that lazy night delivered this warning, wait you're not Onze. However it does look like you are paladins. Let's get down to business shall we. Beware Drogon he is planning an invasion of the Northern towns. there I said it now I must be going."

" No wait!" Uriel needed more info. "Do you know where Drogon is?"

" Well last time I located him by spell he was about an hour north of Thomas's Overlook, ummm if you don't mind could you tell me where you are right now?" Ames had a peculiar way about him as if his attention wasn't completely on the matter at hand.

" Well sir, I believe we are in the last place you located him." Uriel didn't think they would be able to beat Drogon if Royal Court Magister wanted to warn Onze.

" Umm just give me a minute," suddenly they could hear chanting and then a poof. " Well apparently you are there and by the looks of it Drogon already has his army." then we could hear shuffling and what sounded like a box opening. " Well his majesty is not going to like this but it appears we are out of time, if you want to equip something else or upgrade yourselves you'll have 5 minutes to do it, once that time is up my spell will be finished being cast and the two of will have your stats raised 2000%, your skills maxed out and any armor or weapons you are carrying will be indestructible." Uriel and Guage nearly hit the floor.

"2000%!!" the pair said in unison. shock still plainly painted on there faces.

" Yes how else do you two think your going to defeat an army and Drogon, you sure ain't going to do it on your own now get ready." Uriel gave the armor to Guage, Guage tried to give it back but Uriel stopped him immediately telling him about his magic hammer. Guage shrugged and put on the armor. Meanwhile Uriel raided the bodies of the dead goblins. When he searched the last goblin he found what he was looking for it was a common hammer. He quickly upgraded Thomas Hammer

Thomas the Sanctified Magic Hammer lvl 1>2

Damage 24>50 adds 10 to str. and vit.

Enemies killed by Thomas the Sanctified Magic Hammer give User and extra 10% exp

This hammer was amazing, Uriel was ready and so was Guage. A minute later golden light surrounded both of them Uriel felt immense power welling up inside.

" Now I should warn you, you only have four hours to complete your task then you will fall into a weakened state and lose 50% of your stats for 4 hours so off ya go. Also once you finish and report to Onze, have him send you out to me we need to talk about that hammer young man." Uriel didn't know how Ames knew but he did. Well no point in worrying about it now.

" Time to go Guage."
