The Knight and the war

When Dante turned fifteen he had already completed some other dungeons getting more skills and increased his strength. Because he had turned fifteen he would have the graduation ritual of fighting against another knight. But he had trained with the knights for four years making him the equivalent strength as a knight so he could skip the graduation test.

Now that he had become the proper age he was enlisted into the army to get some real fighting experience against human beings. The first thing he noticed when he joined the army was that most of the soldiers were from the age of fifteen to twenty and had most likely been recruited from peasants. Due to him being a knight he was treated with respect and also because he looked intimidating. He was one head above the other soldiers and had a massive ponytail that was all the way down his back. He was also extremely muscular.

He was known for his hand to hand combat and always being covered in robes and never showing his skin. He was recruited to the army because the war had been going on for too long and it took too many resources causing the two kingdoms to use their strongest warriors. He was gonna be on the front lines along with the other knights and soldiers.

He was going to be used in the war of the north were the other kingdom had put most of its troops. After saying goodbye to his teachers he traveled with the army, the moving of the army took a week and when they arrived they set up camp. The soldiers then prepared themselves with a feast and sharpened their weapons. They were excited about the loot because when you killed someone in the position of a skill their skill book/books would drop.

Their army was the size of 20000 while the enemy had an army of 30000. The armies of the enemy were not as well trained and mostly consisted of peasants but there still existed knights in their ranks. When the dungeons were created most countries raided them for skill books boosting the power of their armies.

These two kingdoms had restarted the war that had been ongoing between their kingdoms for centuries. Most knights had at least one skill each that they could use and because of the skill books, some people had learned magic. These magic casters had developed new spells using the skills that they got. These people started to be called mages and were some of the strongest in each kingdom.

The day after the two armies rested they stood in formations and charged each other. Dante was given the task of charging into the other army along with other knights. The moment the two armies collided you could hear warcries and skill activation chants.

You could also see mages buffing their armies and casting elemental magic. The knights of the two armies slaughtered the other soldiers by their superhuman strength and skills.

Dante charged right into the battle casting his different boosting spells and ripping off his gauntlets and killing all the enemy soldiers. He jumped right into the middle of the enemy army and used his rage and berserker skills slaughtering the enemy soldier. When the other knights saw this they charged along with him while the enemy knights charged at him wanting to destroy some of the enemy morale by killing him.

When he saw this he cast giant and his body became even bigger. The enemy peasant soldiers were scared shitless by the hulking giant that had glowing red eyes and was slaughtering their fellow soldiers. Dante however was charging toward the enemy knights killing them one after one by piercing their armor with his hands and killing them.

That's not to say that the enemy was defenseless they also created massive wounds on him but saw them regenerating. The enemy knights thought this was a skill and summed that it took a lot of mana and started to attack more and more furiously.

The knights however on the side of the Pieve kingdom were having a massive morale boost seeing Dante destroying the enemies defenses and attacked with even more vigor. The fight lasted for two days where most of the enemy army was dead. The only reason for the length of the fight was that most soldiers and knights had higher than average power and stamina.

When the war was over the enemy armor and skill books were retrieved. Both the knights, commanders, and soldiers were amazed by Dante. He had been massacring the enemy army at a constant rate in a frenzy and didn't even look tired after the fight. He had gotten a new name as the knight of slaughter.

When they were done collecting all the loot Dante and the knights got to chose their own skill books while the soldiers who killed the most each got a skill book. After this there was a massive feast were they were celebrating. This had both weakened their enemy and strengthened the Pieve kingdom.
