"I do believe we become quite stronger since we all began this adventure, so I believe we're all ready to enter the second floor of the tree." Stated Fang.
I nearly spat out my drink when he said that. It had been one week since the incident with our house and all I wanted to do was to relax for a little bit longer.
"I don't know, we would have to leave our house behind which means we spent our velp for nothing." I responded.
Everyone looked at each other and let out a sigh. We continued to eat our breakfast at the inn while we waited for Mina's group to see if there were any more ghosts in our house.
"Hey John, me and Bubbles are planning on doing a quest later, you in?" Asked Steven.
"I've got nothing better to do, so I don't see why not." I said, leaning back in my chair. After we all finished our breakfast, everyone except me, Bubbles, and Steven parted ways.
"Alrighty, so the lady who posted the quest said how there's been these bandits who've been attacking their village lately. The quests difficulty rating is a tier three so we all need to be careful and stick together." Steven said.
"Tier three? Haven't seen one of those in a while, we've usually been doing tier two quests." I responded.
I thought to myself about the quest we were going to do, 'I'll probably need to buy a new weapon for this quest since mine's about to break.'
"Before we go, I suggest we purchase some weapons and armor. We're not tight on money right now so this shouldn't be a problem. Once we're finished we'll meet back up at this location and head out at around twelve." Said Steven.
"Hold on a second, do we know anything about these bandits? Like do we know their location and who their leader is?" I asked.
"The villagers said that they were coming from the west side of their village, and they don't know who's leading these attacks." Answered Bubbles.
"So we only know their direction, that's not good. Welp, I'm off to buy some new equipment." I said, walking away towards where the weapon smith is.
As I made my way to the weapon store I let out a yawn and rubbed my eyes. 'I did not get enough sleep last night.' I thought.
Once I arrived at the blacksmiths I opened the door and entered, though something was different. The blacksmith who I knew was named Bruce wasn't working there, instead there was a young girl behind the counter.
"Hello, Bruce isn't here today because he's sick. So while he's gone I'll be running his shop, you can call me Ellie. Is there anything I can help you with?" She asked.
I shook my head and walked around the store, making sure to examine each sword to see what their quality was. As I looked at each sword I stopped and examined one that caught my eye.
"This blade here, it's made out of obsidian right? I've never seen this blade here before, did one of you guys make it or did you buy it from somewhere?" I asked.
"That masterpiece right there was made by yours truly, I gave it the name Obsidian Edge and it's the sharpest weapon we've made in this shop."
