Around 10,000 years ago a tree was planted in the center of our world. The tree was like a dungeon, every time you clear a floor the next one opens. John, a 16 year old adventurer decides that he wants to be the first person to reach the top of the tree. On his way up he meets new friends, will John reach the top of the tree? The Dungeon Tree

"I think you guys have done enough exploring for the day. I suggest you stay at the inn and relax at the hot springs there. They happen to make this town very popular. Actually wait, have any of you guys seen Kazuma? He's the guy who uses illusion magic." Asked Daz.


"Well uh, he might be tied upside down to a tree. In our defense, we didn't know you were going to be like this and we didn't want some biting us in the butt later." I said. I turned my head away to avoid eye contact.


"That's a first. I'll go send Remirez to find him. You guys go enjoy your break because you're gonna need it ." Said Daz. He began walking off towards the building to the center of the town. I let out a yawn and made my way towards the inn.


The inn was a lot more different from the one back home. It seemed a lot more organized and the people that stayed there were relatively quiet.


"I'm gonna go hit up the hot springs he mentioned. Do any of you guys want to tag along?" Asked Bubbles.


"I'm good. I'll go and buy us our room. Hopefully they're as cheap as the ones back at home." I said. I walked up to the counter and waved at the person working there.


"Welcome to our inn. For a night here that'll cost you two thousand velp. The price might be expensive but the room's worth it." The worker said.


I gave them a blank stare. 'I didn't bring that much money with me. I'd only be able to afford one room instead of the usual two.' I thought. I let out a sad sigh and opened up my velp pouch. I took out the amount I needed and slid it towards her. The worker received the money and handed me the keys to a room.


As I made my way up the stairs I noticed that Ellie was behind me. I payed to mind to her and made my way towards my room. 


When I opened the door I saw why the room was so expensive. It was decorated head-to-toe with furniture and gave off a nice cozy vibe. Not to mention the fact that everyone got their own separate room.


"Goddamn this place looks nice. Too bad we won't be here for long." I said to myself. I looked at the four rooms I wanted and chose the one to the far left.


"Everyone's at the hot springs relaxing, are you seriously ok with not going?" Asked Ellie. I turned around and gave her a shrug before turning back around and entering my room.
