Tea

I took a step back, frightened by what Daz had said. Daz then began to laugh, but it wasn't a laugh you'd expect from a psychopath, instead it was of one who just heard a joke.

"Relax, I was kidding. I don't like killing people. To be honest, I'm not a fan of blood nor have I ever been." Daz said.

"You're terrifying, you know that right?" Asked Steven. Daz turned to face Steven and shrugged.

"Wouldn't be the first time someone told me that. Anyway, would you guys care for some tea? The people that live at this village are amazing at making some." Said Daz.

I shrugged and looked at everyone else. They didn't seem to have a problem with it so I nodded at Daz. We watched as he ran off leaving us alone in the town square.

"He said there's challenges, what do you think the challenges are?" Asked Bubbles with a puzzled look. I didn't have an answer for him so I stayed quiet.

I got tired of standing still and made my way over to a bench. I took a seat and just sat there for what felt like forever. I almost fell asleep but Ellie decided to start and conversation with me.

"Sorry about being a jerk back at my shop, but I bet you can understand why I was so mad to begin with right?" Asked Ellie. She decided to sit next to me and stay quiet.

"You should have made arrows out of them, would have made more sense. Obsidian breaks easily so having a sword wouldn't be very useful for long term fights." I said. Ellie didn't take my criticism well and stepped on my foot.

"Stop that. Look, if you want to be a good blacksmith you should know what the best material is for making a specific item. For example you would use dragon bones to make a durable blade." I said.

She let out a sigh and removed herself from my foot. I sat on the bench silently feeling more and more drowsy as I stayed still.

"What are you two up to?" Daz walked next to us. I tiredly moved my head to face him and gave him a funny look. Daz set down the tea on a small table in front of us and sat on the bench across from us.

I let out a small laugh and reached for one of the cups. Once I grabbed mine, everyone else picked one up. I went to take a sip of it but spat it out.

"Oh yeah, I don't like tea."
