Crimson: Part Two

Crimson stood still in the storm. Her sudden stillness came to an end when she began to laugh. She covered her eyes with one of her hands and kept laughing. I kept my katana prepared for an attack while she laughed. Bahn soon woke up and watched as Crimson laughed.

"To think that only four people would actually end up hurting me. It has been a while since I've last had to face a challenge like this. I better go all out." Crimson said.

Crimson had stopped laughing and was looking at all of us. She pointed her sword at the ground and fired an explosion, hiding her position.

I checked to see if she was behind us again but didn't see anything. There wasn't any noise underneath us so she wasn't under us either. Steven stayed close to me and made sure he had my blind spots.

As I walked around I felt a presence above me. I quickly turned my head up and saw Crimson charging at us. I saw Crimson aiming her sword at us and threw Steven out of the way causing me to get caught in the explosion.

I crashed into the shrine and laid there in pain. I attempted to get back up but fell back down. I slowly raised my head to see what was happening and saw Steven holding Crimson off on his own while Ashe was running towards me with a potion.

"John, once Ashe gives you the potion I want you to aim me at her again. I have enough energy to shoot another beam." My katana said. I nodded my head and waited for Ashe to come to me.

"Here you go John. You should feel better in a couple of seconds after you drink this." Ashe said, handing me the potion.

I grabbed the potion and drank it almost instantly. When I finished it my body felt like it was good as new. I jumped up and aimed my katana at Crimson.

Before I fired the beam I waited for Steven to move out of the way. The beam fired out of my blade and hit Crimson directly causing her to fly back.

When Crimson's body hit the ground, she didn't move. We waited for a bit until we saw her twitch. I looked at Ashe so I could tell him to fire an arrow but he was already on it. Right as the arrow was about to hit her she raised her arm and blew it up.

Crimson jumped up and stabbed her sword into the ground, just like when I fought her in the city. I also remembered what happened when she did that.

"Everyone run! She's going to blow everything up!" I yelled, grabbing onto Steven and Ashe. Bahn had caught up to us by now and ran beside us.

When we began to slide down on the side of the mountain we heard Crimson's explosion go off. I turned my head around saw the explosion right behind us.

When we reached a flat spot on the mountain I began looking for a cave that we could hide in. Nothing was showing up so we had to just keep running.
