Genki

I rose out of my bed and looked around. The room I was in was a small one. Inside the room there was the bed I was laying on, a desk, two chairs sitting next to a door, and a mirror.

As I sat in the bed trying to figure out where I was I heard voices outside the door. I turned towards the door and saw someone turn the handle. Ellie came into the room and looked right at me.

"You're finally awake. You passed out from exhaustion so we brought you back here to rest. Steven's holding onto your katana at the moment so when you're ready to leave you can get it from him." Ellie said.

I removed myself from the bed and took a deep breath. I looked towards the mirror and saw that the armor I was wearing had been removed.

As I looked at myself in the mirror I saw Steven enter the room with a decent size bag in his hand. When he saw me standing he let out a sigh of relief. Steven walked over to the bed and placed the bag down on it.

"Daz wanted to thank you for defeating Crimson. He already gave me, Ashe, and Bahn a reward so we were just waiting for you to wake up." Steven said.

"Thanks for bringing this to me." I said, walking over to the bag that Steven had placed down.

I opened the bag and looked to see what was inside of it. Inside the bag I saw new pieces of armor that all had blue as its primary color. I removed the chest piece from the bag and took a good look at it.

"I forgot to mention this but I put your katana outside the room. So whenever your ready to leave just pick it up." Steven said.

I nodded at what Steven had said and returned my focus to my new armor. The armor had the same design as my last one so when I put it on I didn't feel any difference. I went back over to the bag and saw two gauntlets. I picked them up and put them on as well. The only thing left in the bag was a large sum of velp.

"I'm ready to go now. But first, I need to go thank Daz for this armor. It doesn't look cheap." I said, making my way towards the door.

When I left the room I saw my katana leaning against a wall with its sheath lying on the ground. I walked over to my katana and sheath and picked them both up. I attached my sheath to my back and looked at my katana.

"I just realized I never actually got a name from you. Is there anything specific you want me to call you?" I asked my blade.

"A name? Us Genmochi don't usually get names. But if I had to choose, I'd go with Genki. Since I shoot energy beams I think the name Genki makes sense."
