"Here we are, the dungeon. It'll take us a couple hours to reach the top of it so make sure you're prepared. Also watch out for the monsters that reside here. They're stronger, faster, and smarter than the ones you're used to." Morgan said.
We all nodded and readied our weapons. Morgan gave us a smile and began to open the door to the dungeon. We all braced ourselves for what was to come as the door slowly opened up.
Inside the dungeon stood a dark hallway with a torn up red carpet in the middle. We all slowly walked into the dungeon and began to look around.
As we walked further into the dungeon I saw four glowing red dots in the distance. Morgan stuck his arm out and stopped us from moving. The room began to light up suddenly and we got to see what the red dots were.
Two monsters that looked like lizards were looking right at us. They both carried two daggers that had a red hilt. The monsters both looked at each other and nodded.
Both lizards began charging at us. They were quickly closing the gap between us. Before I could even react to what was happening I saw both the monsters fall down. Both of their heads had been completely cut off.
Morgan stood by the dead monsters and sheathed his weapon. I quickly turned my head to where he once was and realized he had moved without me even noticing.
"You three should be careful against these monsters. They move at high speeds and can catch you off guard." Morgan said with a smile.
I began walking towards Morgan with everyone behind me. As we walked I heard the doors behind us shut. Morgan began laughing and continued walking forwards.
"Don't worry about the doors shutting. We can open them back up easily so there's no need to worry." Said Morgan.
As we walked further into the dungeon we had entered a room that looked like a library. We walked around the room for a bit looking around. As we followed Morgan through the library we ended up back in another hallway.
Four monsters stood in the middle of the hallway and looked right at us. Morgan pushed me forward and gave me a thumbs up.
"These guys aren't as strong as the last monsters I fought. You should be able to take them out on your own." Morgan said.
I let out a small sigh and began walking towards the monsters.
One of the monsters began to run at me readying its weapon to strike me. As it swung its weapon I blocked it with my own and delivered a slash to its chest. The monster took a couple steps back before collapsing on the ground.
The three monsters all looked at each other and then returned their attention to me. All three of them ran at me and attacked from three sides. I jumped to the left and slashed at the monster in that direction killing it. I quickly jumped away from the middle monsters axe and stayed a safe distance from them.
I ran up to the monster towards the right and slashed its eyes before kicking it down. I used Genki the block the axe of the middle monster and pushed it back. I quickly plunged my sword into the monster before removing it. The only monster that was left was the one to the right. I began walking up the monster and pointed my sword at it. A small beam fired out of my blade killing the monster instantly.
"Man am I glad I learned to shoot smaller beams."
