Around 10,000 years ago a tree was planted in the center of our world. The tree was like a dungeon, every time you clear a floor the next one opens. John, a 16 year old adventurer decides that he wants to be the first person to reach the top of the tree. On his way up he meets new friends, will John reach the top of the tree? The Dungeon Tree

"Alright everyone, now that we've climbed to the top of the dungeon I think you guys should take a break." Morgan said, facing away from us.


Almost everyone had collapsed on the ground from exhaustion. The only people still standing were me and Chuck.


"So, how much longer will it take for us to reach the second floor? I doubt we can make it much longer with the conditions we're in." I said.


"No need to fret, we're already on the second floor. All we need to do now is walk further down this hallway, enter the empty monster room, and open the exit." Morgan said with a cheerful voice.


A few minutes passed as we stayed still and rested. Finally, everyone was ready to continue through the dungeon. Morgan saw this and began walking off again. I turned to follow him and began walking.


After walking for another couple minutes we had arrived in a large room that looked the same as the one we fought the Minotaur in. Morgan kept walking forwards into the room until he came across a door. He turned around to give us a smile before opening the door.


We had all walked out of the dungeon and got a good look at the second floor. It's appearance looked similar to the first floor but this time there was a beach and a jungle. By the beach stood two people with pointy ears looking right at us.


Both of the people walked up to us and examined us. When they were done they took a step back and gave us a smile. They turned their attention to Morgan and gave him a smile.


"Seems you've taught these kids well Captain. How long have you been training them without us knowing?" The one to the left said.


"Actually Ren, I didn't train these kids at all. These kids got strong on their own without my help. Anyway, we need to head towards the town." Morgan said, waving them goodbye while walking away.


I looked at the Ren and the other person next him for a moment before running after Morgan. Alice alongside everyone else followed soon after.


The jungle was filled with animals. I took my time getting a good look at every one of them. After walking for around ten minutes we had come to a complete stop. Morgan had stopped right in front of a cave.


"We need to go through this cave if we want to reach the town. It's a little dangerous but I bet you guys can handle it. The slimes that reside here aren't too strong." Morgan said.


I let out a small sigh and readied Genki. Everyone else removed their weapon as well except for Morgan. Morgan began walking into the cave with his hands in his pockets. Not even a second later a slime jumped out to attack him but Morgan kicked it away and kept walking.
