The Big City

After the long twenty minutes we endured through the cave we had finally arrived at the town. It was ten times bigger than the one on the first floor and the streets were filled with stalls.

"My friend's shop is on the other side of town so don't rest easy just yet. We should arrive there in an hour if we're lucky." Morgan said.

I let out a small sigh and slumped down on the floor. 'What is this guy made of? He just doesn't run out of energy.' I thought to myself.

I turned towards everyone and saw that they all looked exhausted. I turned back to Morgan and saw that he was gone. We were lost in the big city and had no idea where to go.

"Ok everyone, I've got some bad news. It seems like Morgan has run off without us. All we know is that the store we need to go to is on the other side of town. Chuck, do you know where to go?" I asked.

Chuck let out a sigh and shook his head. I gave him a blank stare before turning away. The streets were filled to the brim with people making it so walking through the streets was impossible.

"We could just take the roofs. We've done it before and we can do it again. If we do that then we won't have to go through the streets." Alice suggested.

"Oh yeah, how'd I forget about doing that? Never mind that, let's go now!" I said, running towards the nearest building.

I jumped on top of some of the boxes that were next to me so I could get closer to the roof. I unsheathed Genki and jumped forward using Genki's beam to send me a little higher. I grabbed onto a small pipe on the side of the building to turn myself around and get on the building. I put Genki back in his sheath and looked back at everyone.

Before I could say anything I heard the sound of a whistle being blown. I turned towards the sound and saw five people in matching outfits running right at me. They stopped running once they reached the same rooftop as me and readied their weapons.

"Running on top of the rooftops is not allowed here. Now please come with us so we can check to see if you're a threat to this town." One of the people said.

"If you just stayed put I would have told you that running of the rooftops isn't allowed here!" Chuck yelled at me.

"Chuck? Chuck is that you? If you're here than that means Captain Morgan's here. If this guy was traveling with you than I guess he's alright for now. Don't run on the rooftops again or you will be punished." One of the men said.

I let out a small sigh and nodded before climbing down the building. All of us stared at each other for a moment before wondering what we should do.

Before we could come up with something, Morgan appeared out of nowhere and quickly measured everyone before leaving again.

"How the hell does he do that?!"
