Eventful

"I must congratulate you on surviving Trista's attacks, John. It's too bad though, because she went against the boss's order to leave you alive she still attempted to kill you." The voice above us said.

I quickly jolted my head up to see a man wearing a dark overcoat looking down at us. Without hesitation I grabbed the dagger I had picked up earlier and threw it at him. The man quickly dodged the attack and swung his arms up in frustration.

"The hell was that for?! I didn't even try to attack you and I even gave a reason for it yet you still try to attack me? Great, now I have to restart my entire introduction." The man groaned.

I looked at Ashe for a moment to see if he knew what was going on but he just shrugged. The man was repeating what he said before until he noticed we weren't paying attention to him. The man let out a depressed sigh and jumped down from where he was.

"You guys suck, you know that right? You can't even let someone have their own monologue. Whatever, you did just get attacked so it makes sense that you don't want to risk another fight. Anyway, I'm here to tell you that the people who worked with Crimson have been told to leave you alone. Consider yourself lucky, Boss doesn't usually do this." He said.

The man began to walk away from us but I grabbed him by the shoulder so I could continue our conversation. The man let out another sigh before shaking me off and turning around.

"You said your boss doesn't want anyone working for him to kill me, correct?" I asked.

He nodded his head and began to walk away again. This time I let him go and just watched as he left. Ashe stood there for a moment being completely quiet and suddenly collapsed on the ground.

"How did you talk to him like that John? Did you not sense the dark aura surrounding him? It was so evil that I couldn't even move if I wanted to." Ashe said.

"I can't sense aura so that's why I couldn't feel it at first. However, when I grabbed his shoulder I felt cold." I said, offering my hand to Ashe.

Ashe took my hand and hopped to his feet. We both began to leave the alleyway. The streets were still packed with people walking around.

"I'm going back to where my guild is. I hope to see you again soon." Ashe said before walking off.

I watched as Ashe walked off into the streets and out of my eyesight. I turned back around and let out a small yawn. I began walking towards the direction of where I was staying.

"Today has been quite eventful. I wonder what everyone's doing back home?" I asked myself.

When I arrived at the building I was staying at I could hear the faint sound of people arguing. The voices sounded like Alice and Serene which led me to turn around and walk away.

"I'm not walking in on whatever is happening over there."
