"I could have sworn I walked the other way." I said, looking directly at the door that led to my room.

I shrugged it off and knocked on the door. The voices I heard on the other side of the door stopped arguing and stayed quiet. The door jolted open and I saw Alice in front of me with Serene behind her.

"Could you guys keep your voice down? I could hear you arguing from outside, how do you think the neighbors feel?" I asked.

Alice stopped for a moment and looked as if she just realized that. Serene seemed to do the same and walked into her room. I let out a small sigh and entered my home.

"We were arguing about what element for magic is the strongest. She said nature while I said magic while I said ice. What's your opinion on the matter?" Alice asked.

I stopped for a moment and thought of an answer. 'I might have a fire move but that's only because it was the cheapest. I would much prefer ice but lighting can be really powerful.' I thought.

"I like ice the most but the strongest would most likely be lightning. It's quick and hits really hard. They also happen to be the most expensive and hardest to learn." I said before waking to a bookshelf to grab a book.

I walked over to where our couch was and sat down. I opened the book I grabbed and began to read it. The book suddenly left my hands and was now being held by Alice.

"Do you want me to teach you how to use new magic? It'll be more complex than what I thought Emma though." Alice said.

"Where's this coming from?" I asked her.

Alice turned away from me and began to walk out our home. She shut the door behind her leaving me alone in the room. I let out a small sigh and ran off after her.

When I left the building I saw Alice leaning against a wall with a book in her hands. She turned her attention to me and threw the book at me.

I caught the book and gave her a funny look. She signaled me to open the book up which I did and took a look inside. The book's pages began to glow and a sudden burst of light shot out at me. I dropped the book on accident and looked around to see if the beam of light damaged anything.

"Relax, the book doesn't destroy anything. What the light did was unlock your ability to learn advanced magic. I bought it a while back but can't use it anymore since I already know advanced magic." Alice said.

Something about me felt different. Alice seemed to notice this and let out a small laugh. She got off the wall she was leaning on and began to walk away.

"If you want to learn some new magic than I suggest you continue following me." Alice said with a smile.
