"Now that you can learn advanced magic I can teach you a certain spell." Alice said, looking directly at me.
Alice lifted her arm in the air and made multiple rings surround her arm. A sudden lighting bolt came from the sky and struck her arm. Smoke from the bolt caused me to lose sight of Alice causing me to worry.
When the smoke cleared I saw that Alice wasn't hurt at all. Instead she had electricity running around her arm.
"This move doesn't have a name. It's only known by my family and people we trust with our lives. I don't like using it but I think you would. What it does is summon a lightning bolt which strikes your arm allowing you to use electricity for a short while. It also temporarily increases your speed by a lot." Alice explained.
I was amazed with what she was showing me. The lightning she used was quick and powerful. Her speed was faster than I could ever imagine. The lightning that surrounded her soon came to a stop.
"You know how to summon magic rings right? You need them to cast spells that revolve around you shooting out magic or summoning something." Alice asked.
I shook my head which made her give off a sad sigh. She shrugged and walked over to me. She lifted her hand so it was right in front of my face and kept it there for a moment.
"So you've never opened up your full magic. That would explain why you haven't summoned a magic ring yet. Allow me to fix that." Alice said.
A sudden boost of energy emerged from my body making me feel stronger. Alice gave me a smile and took a couple of steps back so I could try to use the magic she showed me.
"I still don't know how to summon the rings you showed me. Is there something I'm supposed to say?" I asked.
"You don't need to say anything like other spells. You need to find that answer out for yourself." Alice said.
I gave her a blank stare before letting out an annoyed sigh. I raised my arm into the air just like what Alice did and waited for a bolt of lightning to strike me.
Nothing happened. I lowered my arm and thought about what I was doing wrong. It wasn't helping me that Alice wasn't telling me how to summon one of the rings.
"Oh right, since you've never used a magic ring before you wouldn't understand what they feel like. I should probably teach you a spell that uses rings." Alice said.
I turned towards Alice and gave her an annoyed look. Alice let out a small laugh before looking up into the sky. She seemed surprised with how dark it got.
"Let's call it a day shall we?"
