Around 10,000 years ago a tree was planted in the center of our world. The tree was like a dungeon, every time you clear a floor the next one opens. John, a 16 year old adventurer decides that he wants to be the first person to reach the top of the tree. On his way up he meets new friends, will John reach the top of the tree? The Dungeon Tree

"Is there any particular reason why you're following me Eli?" I asked while keeping my eyes on the girl.

"I am the host of this party, it is in my best interest to make sure everyone is happy and is given the help they need." Eli responded.

I let out a small sigh and kept walking forwards until I reached a bookshelf. Eli walked up next to me and went pale. I knew that face could only mean trouble.

"This is not good at all. I need you to follow me upstairs as fast as possible. We don't have any time to waste!" Eli yelled while making a dash towards the stairs.

When we reached the top of the stairs I saw that Eli had a face full of fear and panic. Whatever he believed was happening could not be good. We ran through the hallway making multiple turns until he stopped at a door at the end of the hallway.

Eli turned to face me to see if I was prepared and I nodded. He let out a deep breath and kicked open the door. Inside the room was a man I was all too familiar with. Ren was standing in the room looking at the both of us.

"Not you again! Why the hell are you here Ren? I thought you left this place!" I yelled.

Eli turned towards me and gave me a confused expression. Before I could answer any of his question I was shoved into the room and heard the doors behind me shut.

"Well this is a surprise. I didn't expect to see you here, John. What should we do with him boss? I kind of like this kid." Said Ren.

Whoever was behind me gave me chills. I turned around to see who it was and saw a man wearing a black suit and a mask covering his face.

"If you've already taken the diamond them I don't see much of a need for staying here."

"I knew there was something wrong. Kiki wouldn't have appeared in the first place if there wasn't." Eli said.

We all looked at Eli for a second. Eli suddenly summoned a magic ring and fired shards of ice at Ren. Ren lifted his arm and created a small shield that protected him from Eli's attack. I let out a small breath and jumped away from the masked man.

I summoned a magic ring as well and prepared myself for a fight against whoever was wearing the mask. I fired a fire bolt at the man but it didn't seem to hurt him at all. The man let out a deep breath and somehow got right in front of me and punched me in the stomach. I spat out some blood and crashed into a wall.

I wiped the blood off my mouth and picked myself up. I summoned another magic ring and summoned the multicolored ball I summoned before.
