Leon

After about a full hour of searching the town for this kid's parents we stopped to take a break at a small restaurant at the corner of the street. I sat the kid down first before seating myself and soon realized something. I didn't even know the kid's name yet, nor did I know the name of his parents. Probably should have asked that to begin with. Whoops.

"So, kid. What's your name? I also need to know your parents name. It'll help me out with finding them." I said.

"Leon. My name is Leon. My mom's name is Sakura while my dad's name is William." Leon said, lowering his head.

I gave Leon a confused look because before shrugging it off. I leaned back in my chair and looked out the window. I wondered if I could reunite this kid with his family before nightfall. I turned around at the noise of footsteps and saw a waiter standing there with a smile.

"Here's our menu for the food you can order, is there anything you'd like to drink?" The waiter asked.

"I'll have some water. What do you want to drink Leon? It's all on me so don't worry too much." I said, giving him a sincere smile.

"I'll have the same thing..." Leon said quietly.

I turned to face the waiter and smiled. She nodded and walked away from eyesight. I turned back to face Leon and let out a small laugh. Leon raised his head up and gave me a confused look.

"There's no need to be so embarrassed Leon. Seriously, you don't have anything to worry about with me here." I said, giving him a big smile and a thumbs up.

Leon nodded just as the waiter came back into eyesight holding onto two glasses full of water. The waiter put the waters down which I thanked her for. She waved at us as she left leaving me and Leon alone.

I grabbed onto the glass and took a drink before setting it back down. It was more refreshing than I expected. Then again, I hadn't drank anything for a while and I was getting thirsty. I watched as Leon grabbed onto his glass and began drinking. He put his down and took a deep breath.

As I sat down trying to decide what to order I heard familiar voices come from outside. I turned to look out the window and saw Ashe standing next to Holly talking with what looked to be his guild. Ashe seemed to notice me looking at him causing us to have a moment of awkward silence. His guild seemed to notice he was staring at something and turned to see what it was. They all saw me and we just made eye contact without moving. I began to sweat out of nervousness and turned my head away.

"I do not like awkward silences one bit." I said, taking a drink of water.

The sound of the front doors opening caused me to turn my attention towards it and saw Ashe walk in with his guild. I avoided eye contact to avoid anymore awkward silence.

"Why does it look like you're avoiding that boy with silver hair?" Leon asked.
