"You didn't forget me, did you?" A girl asked.
It was the girl with the kimono. She stood by the tree and was looking directly at me. The wind blew in and caused her hair to move with it. She seemed almost like an angel. I thought I found her at Eli's manor but I guess it was someone who looked similar to her.
"So you've actually decided to start talking to me?" I said, walking over to her.
I looked at the ocean and let out a deep breath. The last thing I remember while awake was me collapsing on the ground. The wind finally went away leaving us with the warm sun.
"The battle you fought in was a serious one, just look at your arms." The girl said.
I did what she said and looked at my arms. They were encased in casts. When I looked up I was no longer at the hill, I was in a hospital room. I looked around to see if anyone was close by and saw Alice, resting her head on my bed fast asleep.
Erika and Jyn both entered the room at the same time, walking towards me. When they both noticed I was awake they let out a small sigh of relief.
"So, what happened to Kerrin?" I asked.
"He's still resting, I'm surprised he didn't lose any limbs from all the explosions you threw at him. But let's not talk about him right now, Erika, tell him the news." Jyn said, turning his head towards her.
"Well your arms are, uh, how do I put this? Pretty much shattered. It'll take me months before I can heal all the damage and even then it won't be fully healed." Erika said.
I looked back down at my arms again. I've done this before. When I fought Crimson I ended up in a hospital. All though I didn't end up breaking my arms. When I looked back over at Alice I saw that she was awake.
"You should thank her, John. She's been with you since you arrived." Erika said.
I blushed a little before turned away from her and facing Jyn again, "what about the others? What happened to them, are they safe" I asked.
Jyn nodded, "yes, yes they are. Right now they're helping out with all the damage Kerrin caused."
I let out a sigh of relief, none of my friends got hurt. I looked out the window behind me and saw that we were still in the town. I could see the tree's version of birds fly across the sky while I sat there.
"I don't want you traveling or going on any quests for these next months, got it? Your arms need to heal." Erika said.
I nodded my head and put it back down on my bed. Even though I just woke up I felt exhausted. I let out one last smile before closing my eyes.
