Invisible: Part 2

"So let me get this straight. Right next to you is someone around our age who's invisible to everyone who isn't a Genmochi user?" Alice asked.

"That's right." I said, nodding my head.

I had brought the invisible kid who I found out was named Fukui with me when I was trying to catch back up to Alice. At the moment we were sitting in a small restaurant that showed a nice view of the ocean.

"And this Genmochi of his also makes guitar sounds?" Alice continued.

I nodded my head again. She seemed disappointed in Fukui's power and who could blame her? Fukui couldn't even control his Genmochi. I took a sip of my drink of my drink and looked at Fukui. Even though he had almost nobody to talk to he didn't seem lonely or upset. Fukui seemed to notice me staring and gave me a smile. I quickly turned away and put my drink down.

"Maybe only Genmochi users can see him? If that's the case maybe we could get Morgan and see if he knows anything about this?" Alice suggested.

"That might be the best option we have," I said, getting up from the seat, "now let's get going. I'm pretty sure Morgan's at the guild hall back at town."

Alice and Fukui both got up soon after and walked out of the restaurant leaving me to pay. I let out an annoyed sigh and put some velp on the counter before running off after them.

"Did you guys really have to leave without me?" I asked.

Alice let out a small snicker as she continued to walk away while Fukui gave me a shrug. I rolled my eyes and continued after them.

"So has anyone else seen you before or is it just me?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, there is this one guy who can see me and we hang out sometimes. He carries a large staff on his back." Fukui answered.

I stopped moving and gave him a blank stare. I would say why he didn't say anything before but I knew what his answer would be.

"So do you have any idea where he is?" I asked cautiously.

"If I remember correctly he should be coming here today. Oh! Speak of the devil!" Fukui said, looking behind me.

I turned around to see whoever he was talking about and saw a tall man heading right towards us. He had a large staff on his back like what Fukui said and had short brown hair. He looked charming to put it simply.

"So you can see Fukui too? That would mean you're a Genmochi user. But I don't see any weapon or armor piece on you. How come?" He asked.

"Uhh, I left it at home. I was told that I shouldn't use my arms that much until they're fully recovered." I answered.

He gave me a strange look before shrugging. He walked over to Fukui and gave him a big smile before turning his head towards me.

"Thanks for keeping him company while I was gone. We'll be going now, later!" He said, walking off with Fukui.

Alice and I watched as the two just left us. I guess we didn't need to worry about Fukui anymore. I let out a sigh and shrugged.
