Pierre’s Goods

"I think we've been here long enough." I said, getting up from my chair.

People were scattered all around the beach eating their share of the crab. We had already eaten ours and all I had to say about it was that it was delicious.

"Maybe you shouldn't go without any weapons? Past the town gets a lot more dangerous so it would be smart to bring some." Serene said.

With how my arms are now I'm pretty sure I could at least use a weapon again. It would definitely make things a lot easier.

"I doubt any of the weapon shops are open. This is a town event after all." I said.

"There is a shop that stays open during events like this. Just follow me and I'll show you." Serene said, walking away from us. Alice and I soon ran after her.

The building gave off a sinister vibe. It didn't help that it was located in the back of a dark alleyway. To be honest, I just wanted to turn around and leave. The only reason why I was staying was because Serene seemed really confident in this place. I could tell Alice had the same thought process.

When Serene opened the door to the store we were met with a rather comforting area. It was a complete contrast to the outside. There was also a large number of people in here, all looking rather friendly. The store had all sorts of things for sale ranging from just a normal sword to a guitar in the shape of a battle axe. There was also a lot of food and medicine for sale. There was also another feature to the store that caught me by surprise.

"This place is massive!" I said, looking around the store.

"There's actually two entrances to this place, I just wanted to choose the alleyway one so I could catch you guys by surprise." Serene said with a proud look.

Well her plan definitely worked. Still though, this place was massive. I don't think I need to buy another sword though, I could always just go back to get Genki. The only problem with that would be that I would have to go all the way back to town. Actually, this might be a good time to start training with another weapon. Hammers and battle axes are too heavy for me so that was definitely out of the question.

"You're creeping people out with your mumbling." Alice said, lightly hitting the top of my head.

"What? Sorry, I guess? I was just thinking about what type of weapon I should get. I don't want to use a sword again so I'm thinking of what weapon to use." I said.

"How about a halberd or a spear?" Alice suggested.
