Around 10,000 years ago a tree was planted in the center of our world. The tree was like a dungeon, every time you clear a floor the next one opens. John, a 16 year old adventurer decides that he wants to be the first person to reach the top of the tree. On his way up he meets new friends, will John reach the top of the tree? The Dungeon Tree

"Ow! What the hell was that for?!" I asked, putting my hands over the spot where Ichiro flicked me.


"So your aura takes the form of flames. Pretty basic but still powerful." Ichiro said, observing me closely.


I gave him a strange look before noticing the flames surrounding me. Everyone noticed my eyes widen as I took a step back out of reflex.


"You can relax, these flames won't hurt you. This is your aura. With the Flame Aura all of your fire spells will increase in power." Ichiro told me, still observing me.


"So what's your aura look like?" I asked, still baffled by the flames around me.


"Our family's aura is electricity." Ichiro responded.


Tiny lightning bolts zapped around his body. His hair even began to spike up from the electricity. He gave me a big smile before taking a step forward and disappearing of my view. My first thought was that it was like the spell Alice taught me.


Ichiro appeared in front of us and released his aura. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath when he did.


"Oh yeah, aura doesn't just increase your magic power either. As you just saw, electricity can make you extremely fast." Ichiro explained.


Ichiro didn't say anything, instead he just pointed at Genki then towards the rock behind us. 'I'm guessing he wants me to use Genki on the rock.' I thought.


To say I was nervous would be a understatement. For all I knew, I could end up causing a small explosion. I stopped thinking about that for a moment and took a deep breath. I walked over to the rock and unsheathed Genki.


Genki wasn't saying anything. I couldn't even see his eyes which made me think he was asleep. I readied my blade and got into a fighting stance. My aura surrounded Genki which still didn't wake him up. With a single slash of my blade I cut the rock in half.


I put Genki back in his sheathe and walked back over to everyone. Alice and Akio both seemed amused by what I just did while Ichiro still had a big grin on his face. Before I could even reach them I fell face first into the ground.


"I guess your limit is only a minute at the moment. We'll work on that later." Ichiro said, helping me to my feet.
