Battle in the Throne Room

The Giant King stood up from his throne and looked down on us. With one step forward he not only left the shadows but shook the entire cave.

In his hand he held a giant mace which seemed to fit him perfectly. On his back to could see a little bit of what looked to be a sheathe for a sword.

"So Onar, I'm guessing with the all the corpses behind you, you've become a traitor?" The King said with a disapproving look.

"Why did you start attacking humans for no reason?!" Onar yelled.

Onar moved in front of us and began walking towards the King. The King did the same and seemed to have a nasty grin on his face. In the blink of an eye, he had managed to get right in front of Onar and punch him in the chin. All in the same turn, he grabbed onto Onar's breastplate and threw him across his shoulder.

Onar jumped up and away from the King and raised his fists. Both ran at each other and colliding their firsts. Hit after hit they would throw, causing the floor beneath them to crack.

Onar moved his head to dodge an attack and went in for a counter, knocking the King back.

"That was a good warmup. Now it's time to get serious." The Giant King said, cracking his knuckles.

"I guess I should too, King." Onar said.

Wait, was his name actually King? I'll ask about that later if I get the chance.

"Anybody else feeling kinda useless right now?" Akio asked.

Alice and I both nodded our heads. What could we do though? If we were to get involved we'd probably just get in the way.

"I can change that feeling of uselessness." A voice from behind us said.

When did they get behind us? No, who was behind us? I could only manage to turn my head a little bit before being blasted away with Akio and Alice.

As I flew back I could finally see who we were fighting. The man held onto a giant scythe that had a blade which stretched out a far distance. Oh, and did I mention that he was floating?

"Don't think you can hold back against me." The man suddenly appeared to my side and hit me into the ground. Well that was one way to get back down. I used my arms to launch myself up and landed back down on my feet. Alice and Akio both got hit on the ground and weren't getting up.

"Please don't leave me alone with the scary floating guy." I said, looking at the two of them with a pleading look.

"You should be focused on me." The man said, swinging his scythe right in front of my face.

I jumped back and changed into a defensive stance. The man began to circle around at such a fast speed that he created multiple afterimages of himself.

"Should I use my aura? No, I can only last a minute with it on before becoming completely useless?" I said, looking at all the afterimages.

"Trying to think of a plan?" The man said, appearing right behind me.

I began to swing Genki but was stopped with a blow to my stomach causing me to cough out blood.

"You're still holding back on me!" The man said, summoning his dark purple aura all around him.

The aura blocked everything but the shine of his eyes out of my sight.

His eyes were the same as the ones I saw from the person who was next to King earlier. I had thought he left earlier when he vanished but it's obvious now that's not what he did.

His aura began to change shape and send the feeling of dread throughout my body. His aura had turned into the shape of what I could only think of one word for. Demon.
