Bonus Chapter

The last thing the man remembered was being knocked out by the guild leader Koda. When he picked himself he could finally see what had become of King's castle. It had been taken over by Omar and his companions and was going through a celebration.

"I-I failed you boss. All because I just wanted to have a fun fight." The man said, slamming his fist into the tree right next to him.

It was when he punched the tree he had fully realized that he had somehow moved despite being unconscious. He looked around in an attempt to find who could have done this.

"It's a good thing the boss told me to follow you, Tadao. He had a hunch your personality would get the better of you." A voice he was all too familiar with came from above.

When he looked up he saw his ally sitting on top of a tree branch. The girl was one of the few people in his guild that were actually willing to work with him despite his personality.

"Natsumi…" Tadao said, not sure what emotions he should be feeling at the moment.

"We still have one objective left. As long as we complete that, the boss will have what he wants." Natsumi said, jumping down from the tree and patting Tadao on the back.

She was right. The boss had given them two objectives. One was to start a giant civil war and the other was to kidnap Naoki Mai. For what reason the boss had to kidnap the girl was of no concern to Tadao. After all, in his eyes he owed the boss his life.

"Right. Will there be others with us?" Tadao asked.

"There will be two other people joining us. Both should arrive in a few days. We'll go over the plan once they arrive. Make sure you're ready by then, ok?" Natsumi said before walking off into the darkness of the forest.
