"Now this room brings back memories." Akio said, looking around the room filled with medicine.
He walked over to the desk in front of him and brushed off all the dust to reveal a book that looked like it would fall apart at any moment now. Akio grabbed onto it and began reading through it. Inside each page laid the instructions to all the medicine Akio had learned and created.
"Can't remember the last time I even made medicine." Akio said, sounding disappointed in himself.
The door behind him suddenly opened causing Akio to quickly turn around. There was a tall standing in front of him. Two butlers stood behind the man and showed no reaction to Akio's appearance.
"Your sword practice is about to start soon. Are you ready?" Akio's father asked.
Akio flinched when he heard about his sword practice. It was something he hadn't done in a long time. It was also something he'd rather forget about.
Akio lowered his head and began to speak aloud, "so I've been brought into one of my memories. I'll play it safe and go along with how this memory actually played out for now."
"Hm? Did you say something?" Akio's father asked.
Akio shook his head, "nothing important. Let's get going to the training grounds."
A couple minutes later, Akio was going head-to-head with the person training alongside him. If Akio's memory served him right, his name was Daichi. The two of them were complete polar opposites of each other. Akio was clumsy and terrible with a weapon while Daichi seemed to know exactly what he was doing while in the middle of a fight.
"You're not going to win if you keep playing passively!" Daichi said, just barely missing Akio.
Akio took a step back and somehow managed to trip. Before he could hit the ground he used his magic to raise the ground beneath him to avoid being hit.
"Yeah, you're right. It's thanks to this moment that I learned that actually." Akio said, jumping off from the raised ground.
Akio starting making the motion of swinging his weapon. Daichi planted his feet into the ground and prepared to counter Akio's attack. He was so focused on Akio's weapon that he didn't even notice Akio's other attack.
Aura surrounded Akio's fist as it connected with Daichi's stomach. The hit ended up sending Daichi flying into hedges that had just been trimmed.
"Well that settles that. Now how do I get out of here?" Akio asked, looking around the area.
The training yard suddenly began to glow with a bright white light. Once the light faded, Akio saw that the area was now just an empty white void with water as it's floor.
"I guess that's one way out."
