When I opened my eyes I saw the man with an impressed look on his face. I watched as he withdrew his sword from the wall that was right next to me.
"Well I'll be damned. You're pretty good for someone your age." The man said, bring the weapon he used to attack me with back towards him.
"I work well under pressure." I responded.
The man raided his cloth back onto his forehead and put both his swords in their sheathes and began circling me. This time though he wasn't trying to find an opening, instead it felt like he was just trying to observe me.
The man suddenly stopped and looked at a pile of crates I had missed earlier. Although I couldn't see much, it looked like I could see part of someone's hair. It didn't take me too long to figure out who it was though.
"Emma you don't have to hide anymore." I said.
Emma suddenly fell out from the crates, as if she was shocked someone found her. She quickly jumped to her feet and brushed the dust off her clothes.
"What did I just witness?" Emma said, walking over to me and the man.
"Aura Reading." The man suddenly said, answering Emma's question.
I turned towards the man with a raised eyebrow. Whatever this ability was, it was clear it would be very useful in the future.
"What's that?" Emma asked.
"Don't you have other things to be focused on right now?" The man said.
"Oh right! Everyone's stuff!" Emma shouted, getting ready to run off.
"I haven't even told you where the treasure room is yet."
Emma's running came to a complete stop when she heard those words come from the man. She slowly turned around and had an embarrassed look on her face.
"So where is it then?" I asked.
