Around 10,000 years ago a tree was planted in the center of our world. The tree was like a dungeon, every time you clear a floor the next one opens. John, a 16 year old adventurer decides that he wants to be the first person to reach the top of the tree. On his way up he meets new friends, will John reach the top of the tree? The Dungeon Tree

"You kids have fought bravely. For that, I thank you. Now take a good long rest and allow me to bring this fight to its conclusion." Aoi said, readying his spear and giving Metalbeard a sharp glare.


The force of Aoi's gaze was enough to send shivers down my spine. It wasn't even targeted towards me so I could only imagine what Metalbeard must be feeling right now.


"A fight between ship captains. I like it!" Metalbeard shouted, rushing towards Aoi at a speed I wasn't able to keep up with.


Almost as if it were nothing, Aoi deflected Metalbeard's attack and struck Metalbeard in the stomach with the blunt end of his trident. Metalbeard's eyes widened right before he was sent flying backwards.


Metalbeard steadied his cutlass and stabbed it into the ground. He held a tight grip on the handle so he could regain his footing.


Aoi swung his trident upwards, creating a giant waterfall that sent Metalbeard up into the air. Aoi pulled back his trident and stabbed it into the ground. Within an instant, a geyser shot out from the ground and launched Aoi right in front of Metalbeard.


"Do your worst!" Metalbeard shouted, clenching his open hand into a fist.


"Tsunami," Aoi pulled his trident back, "Thrust!"


Their attacks collided head on with each other, sending powerful shockwaves throughout the area.


All I could do was stand there and watch as those two clashed against each other. Neither of them seemed to lose any ground. Though that was until I saw Metalbeard suddenly twitch. Aoi took this opportunity and readied another attack. Something seemed off about this though.


Metalbeard had been jumping off the walls as a way to keep himself up in the air but from what I've seen, he hasn't injured himself. Wait… what if?


Without wasting any time, I used my Genmochi to create a pillar which launched me towards Aoi and Metalbeard. As I flew closer, I saw Metalbeard poorly hiding a smile on his face. It was too late for Aoi to stop his attack so I needed to find a way to interrupt Metalbeard.


"Give me those keys!" I shouted, causing Metalbeard to turn his attention away from Aoi. My spear slammed into Metalbeard's cutlass, sending flying away from us.


"Where do you think you're looking!" Aoi's voice shouted from beside Metalbeard's side.
