Despite the hostile environment we had just gone through, before us stood flower fields that stretched all the way towards the mountains far in the distance. Each flower patch contained all kinds of flowers, making each patch colorful.
"I was… not expecting such a nice area beyond the bridge." I said to myself.
As Steven, Felix, and I stood back in awe of all the colors, Bea ran towards one of the flower patches and began tending to them. The three of us watched as she began humming to herself while she looked at the flowers. The three of us exchanged looks for a brief moment before heading over to Bea.
"I take it you're a fan of flowers?" Steven asked, leaning forward to look at what Bea was doing.
Bea turned around towards Steven and nodded her head, "I've got my own magic which allows me to create all kinds of flowers!" As she said that, she reached out her right hand and opened it up, revealing a bright red flower. Bea gave the three of us a big smile before returning to the flower patch and planting the red flower.
"So you can use Nature Magic?" Felix asked, giving Bea an impressed look.
"That's the first time I've seen magic like that." I looked at the flower Bea had created.
"Really? I don't mind the magic but it does bring up some bad memories." Steven shrugged.
"That's rough." I said.
Steven stared blankly at me, "you're not gonna ask me about me and Emma's past?"
"Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked, tilting my head in confusion.
Steven shook his head, "not really."
I let out a sigh, "Then I won't ask about it."
Felix suddenly spoke up, "alright we've wasted enough time here. Let's go find the rest of your comrades."
Steven, me, and Bea all exchanged looks with each other for a moment before nodding our heads.
"Let's get going then." I said, following the path that supposedly would lead us to the next human village.
"Any idea how long it'll take us to get there?" Steven asked, following right beside me with Bea sticking close behind him, making a small little crown made of the flowers she picked from the patches.
Bea stopped focusing on her flower creation and looked up at Steven, "We'll be able to make it before nightfall as long as nothing gets in our way."
"Let's hope nothing gets in our way then." I said, turning around and giving the three of them a big smile.
"Great. Now that you said that something is definitely going to go wrong." Fea gave me an annoyed look before lowering the brim of his hat to hide his eyes.
"Don't say that! I'm sure we'll be fine." I said with enthusiasm.
