The deafening silence was pressing against Sarah's eardrums, or was that her blood pressure? She felt like if she was in a trance, and numbness started overcoming her senses. She knew that she was in shock, but she couldn't help letting the feeling spread out as she watched the man clothed in black fear and pointing the gun at them with a shit-eating grin as if he scored a trophy. And maybe in a way, he did score a trophy, them...

He approached opening the balcony door silently and stepped into the dark bedroom, the light coming from outside no longer illuminating his face, instead they were casting shadows on his figure, and his face was barely distinguishable in the dark light.

"Sorry to interrupt your cozy little happy moment, Doc. But, you and your fiance here are going to come with me." He said in a whispering tone that set chills up Sarah's spine.
