Chapter 32

As if in slow motion, Sarah was pulled back by the force of her momentum landing on the ground. The sheets were still clenched in her hands as they blew with the wind

"Elias! No!" she heard herself scream, she didn't feel anything until Adam's voice penetrated her dazed mind.

"Sarah! Pull it together! You can't jump after him," He yelled pulling her back from the railing as she bent forward calling for Elias. he spun her grabbing both her shoulders and shook her "Sarah, do you hear me?! You need to pull it together!"

"Elias, we need to help him. He fell!" She told Adam her tears running down her cheeks and her vision blurry,

Adam looked at her with a painful look, and she knew why. If Elias fell, then there was nothing they could do to help him. But, at that thought, she realized why her mind tried to push away that idea. Something snapped inside her and an excruciating pain filled her whole being.
