HE STARTED walking though he didn't know where he was going. They said he was in a carnival.
He seemed to be looking for those moments but he couldn't figure out what or who . . .
Until his feet stopped on the Ferris wheel. There, he saw a woman but he could not see her face. He didn't know if it was dark or if it was just all misty.
"You're here. . ." Sachi said suddenly as he approached.
"I've been waiting for you. . ." She held his hand. He felt at peace as their skin touched.
They immediately get inside the ferris wheel. There, Sachi looked at the girl's face.
As time goes by, the face of the woman slowly gets cleare. Until he finally figured it out . . . she's no other than Lisa.
She smiled at him and said, "Why are you doing this?" There is a mixture of sadness and sadness in her voice.
Sachi was startled when he blinked and the whole area suddenly darkened. There's also no trace of Lisa left.
He tried to look for her but there's only darkness. Sadness and Fear already took over him.
Sachi screamed as he kept calling Lisa's name but there was no reply from the girl.
When it became bright all of a sudden, he thought it was over but he was mistaken.
Because he had suddenly slipped downward to which he closed his eyes hard.
"Is this my end?"
SACHI SUDDENLY woke up. His whole body was sweating. He had that dream again. The only difference is that the woman has a face and he can't be mistaken that it's Lisa.
Sachi slowly got up then walked to the kitchen. He take the pitcher out, pour a glass of water, and immediately drank.
Now he understood. What makes Lisa unique is that Lisa is the woman he always dreamed of.
He suddenly felt frightened for unknown reason. From the moment he saw Lisa in the bookstore, he was no longer at ease. Every night, that dream haunts him.
Sachi sat on the chair as he felt weak while looking from the outside where he gazed at the full moon. His mind is still covered with Lisa's gentle face . . .
ON THE other hand, Lisa still has not calmed down to what happened at work the day before.
"I don't know. I'm confused. Maybe I'm just. . ."
Lisa tried to calm down. She could not imagine that he would see Twelve. The next time they meet, she will make sure he'll recognize her. It seems like he doesn't know her at all. With that thought, Lisa felt sorry for the young man.
"Hey, Lisa! Someone's looking for you," Aika, her co-worker, said.
She left her station with a frown on her face and quickly went to the person looking for her. She was very surprised that it was Sir Mitsuko.
"Good eve, Sir! Why are you here? Do you need something?" Lisa began. She also sat on a chair opposite the old man.
The old man just smiled. "No, that's not it. I just want to visit you. By the way, I would like to introduce you to Haise. . . my nephew. My younger sister's son."
When she looked at Haise, he smiled at her.
"She's the girl I've been telling you about," The elder said happily to Haise.
The old man glanced at her softly. He asked her to meet his nephew Haise. She agreed because her shift was already done.
Even Lisa was puzzled by the strange behavior of the older man because it seems that he's recommending his nephew to her. She just let it go, though, and just invited them to eat somewhere.
They were a few steps away from when they decided to enter an expensive cafe in the same mall that Lisa worked for.
Lisa felt small and shy because her clothes didn't fit in the place they were going to eat.
Suddenly she bowed her head in anticipation of Sir Yamade's order. Lisa had just turned herself around and opened the menu book in front of her.
Haise noted her silence once they entered the restaurant.
He glanced at Lisa's whole face. She's simple, unlike the other teenagers in their place that are full of make-up. He finds Lisa a little bit cute and interesting too.
Haise thought it was time for him to retire and to find a sweetheart so he could start a family again.
Haise of Trenta has grown, so is the small company that he grew up with.
In fact, many want to hurt his mischievous heart, but to this day he still does not find the right woman. He seemed to find something that he couldn't find in the women with whom his Mom was associated.
Haise just sighed. His mom has been chatting with him so much lately. She sets dates with some women for him to marry. But those women doesn't like him at all.
Again, he suddenly turned his attention to his friend Tito. "Are you alright, miss?" asked Haise. He felt sympathy for her. He could see in her eyes the hidden sadness.
He just smiled at Lisa. Lisa watched the scene and admitted that he's very handsome. His thin mouth and delicate beards growing in his jaw gave Haise's charisma.
Her study of the physical attributes stopped when their order arrived and they began to eat quietly.
By the middle of their meal the old man had began the conversation.
"If you were going to ask, Lisa, I would love you to be my secretary."
"You can work in our company too."
Lisa felt good about her job offer.
"I'm definitely not going to have to pay my mom's fees. . . I still have some savings." Lisa said to herself.
Lisa was about to say that she was willing, but she was suddenly tongue-tied.
She remembered that until now she had been waiting for Twelve to return to their section.
She still hopes he will return just as he did.
When that happens, Lisa promises herself that she will be the one to inspire the young man.
She smiled so sweetly. Lisa was so happy that for a few moments she had a conversation with Twelve and she heard his name again and again in her arms as if her chest were about to burst.
Lisa had mixed emotions during those times.
She was always worried about working hours, not eating well and suddenly smiling at the thought that he would come back for her.
Suddenly, she stopped thinking. The old man awaits her decision. Although, he wants it and she can help him if he accepts such a job offer, hut her heart's desire to wait for Twelve won. Tiredness and fatigue she spent everyday in the bookstore is nothing as long as she will be with Twelve again.
"I'm sorry but I'm fine with my job now. Thank you very much," Lisa politely declined the older man.
The two looked at each other.
"It's okay, if that's your decision. I'll accept it. But if you need something, you can reach me."
At the same time he reached for a small envelope to Lisa.
"Thank you, sir. I hope you find your grandchild."
Lisa noticed that the expression on Haise's face changed. He seems to have felt some discomfort in the subject.
He immediately stood up and said goodbye to them. Lisa just ignored Haise's behavior in front of her.
Even the old man left his nephew alone. The elder apparently knew that Haise did not want to hear him talking about his missing cousin.
Shortly, after they ate, Lisa was taken home.
AS LISA entered, the darkness and the silence roam in the area. She again felt the familiar sense of being alone that goes along with her exhaustion that day.
She just decided to lie down on the sofa first so that only the rest of the body can rest. Later she went to shower. She didn't even bother to turn on the light from the room. Only dominant in those moments was the sound of the clock hanging at her apartment. Until she finally got some sleep in that instant.
LITTLE BY LITTLE, Liza opened her eyes. She didn't even realized she was asleep. She slowly turned her attention to the clock. She was surprised that it was past twelve in the midnight already. She was once again starving to death.
Lisa closed her eyes and continued napping into the sofa, not bothering to get up and move to her bedroom because she was too lazy to do so.
But suddenly she felt something strange around her. There seemed to be eyes glaring at her from the dark room she was in. Suddenly, she was terrified. It seems like someone is observing her.
She took a deep breath, and there she noticed that the door of her apartment was open.
For a moment, someone just grabbed her and she shouted in horror. The person forcefully held her then pushed her.To her surprise, that person even punched her in the stomach. She seemed to be a candle loosing.
Her sight gradually faded due to the powerful blow. With tears in her eyes, she suddenly thought of Twelve.
TWELVE IS having fun with his college friends, meanwhile. One of their friends asked for a night out because he went to a vacation in Japan for a business transaction.
"Hey, Sachi, come on! Lets drink! Don't be KJ because it's my last day here. Just one drink, buddy!" Lindon urged the young man.
But he still politely refused. He was actually about not to go but he keeps on insisting. He didn't know the situation will be like this. He can't help but sigh.
He went out of his unit first to get some air.
He was walking down the hallway when he heard someone scream.
He feel nervous in that voice. He wondered because he couldn't hear it for a moment. He immediately followed the noise, making a slow motion.
He saw a room that has an open door. He's sure the noise came from here. Suddenly, he heard a loud crash of something from within. He walked quickly, taking care not to make any sound.
When he finally got in, he had seen a man from the darkness who was on top of a lady.
He felt very angry with the man and pity for the other. He was sure the man would harm the woman.
The woman was still shouting, continuing to fight the man who was trying to get her even though it was impossible to survive the danger.
Sachi's eyes were already dimming. He immediately grabbed the man, trampled him and hit him. The man who had been shocked didn't even notice him.
The man soon lost his consciousness before him. But Sachi still can't stop it. Then he just felt the woman he had saved embraced him.
LISA WAS terrified at that moment but she keep on fighting back. She even forced herself to remain conscious.
She had almost given up hope that she could escape the hands of the man who had entered her apartment. She just let the tears in her eyes fall down when he successfully got on top of her. She is still in shock and seems to have lost all strength.
Until Lisa felt like the man had disappeared.
Out of the darkness he could see another man. He then trampled and punched the man who wanted to harm her. He did not allow the man to strike back.
Lisa felt happy, but at the same time, there was a panick growing in the depths of her heart. Because even though the man who wanted to harm her had collapsed and lost consciousness, the other man still didn't stop beating him. Lisa was sure that he would surely kill that person if she wouldn't stop him.
Though still trembling and not yet in the right state of mind, she forced herself to stop him. She quickly embraced the man. "That's enough, please!" Lisa cried to the young man.
Twelve suddenly stopped. He's sweating and gasping for air not because of exhaustion but because of anger. He would not have stopped it if had not restrained and embraced him. If not for her, he might have killed the man.
He slowly calmed down, but the anger he felt remained. He turned his attention to the woman's embrace.
His heartbeat suddenly exploded as he felt the familiar embrace.
"That's enough. . ." she begged.
Suddenly he was relieved to hear her voice again.
"Lisa. . ."
Lisa remained idle in that moment.
The young man saw how Lisa was traumatized with the man.
Twelve thought that perhaps with so much stress at work she did not even realize that she had not locked her unit.
"Rest in your room. I will take care of that man. I will make him take responsibility for what he did to you. I will make sure he'll rot in jail!"
It seemed as if Lisa had just noticed him. All sorts of emotions had swept through Lisa when she realized the man who had saved her from harm was no other than Twelve.
"Twelve. . ." Lisa finally uttered. Shock was still written in her face.
She quickly ran to the young man with tears in her eyes.
Sachi was happy but he's still wondering. He remembered the name Lisa called him.
"Did I hear it right? She called me Twelve?" he whispered in his mind. The name she called him seemed familiar. Suddenly, his head ached.
Sachi sat down as a result of the sudden pain. He felt as if he could blow his head.
Lisa's concerned face was what he saw before he lost his consciousness.
LISA QUICKLY picked up her cellphone then called the emergency hotline right away.
Shortly, after the medics arrived, Sachi was taken to the stretcher then was quickly put inside the ambulance.
While they were in the ambulance, Lisa couldn't help but think of the young man. She was happy that he saved her from the harm.
She grabbed and squeezed the young man's hand. She is sure that this man is Twelve. Her instinct was right that Twelve is alive.
At the same time, she thought suddenly of Shibazaki.
She immediately took her cellphone out of her pocket and put Shibazaki's number . But the number is out of coverage area so she put her cellphone back in her pocket.
Until they got to the hospital.
Sachi was immediately admitted to the emergency room, Lisa roamed her sight around the entire hospital. Although it is still one a.m., there are still many people.
Suddenly, she saw Shibazaki enter the hospital's entrance.
He did not notice her, though. He continued to the reception area and asked the nurses on duty.
.
"Sir Shibazaki," Lisa called to the detective.
Their gaze met. He couldn't help but marvel at Shibazaki seeing him there.
"Lisa? What are you doing here? Don't say you're the one who saved Sachi."
"Sachi?" Lisa wonders.
"Don't tell me that Sachi is his name now, sir? Shouldn't it be Twelve?"
Shibazaki was silent for a moment, not knowing what to say.
"Ahmm, yes, Lisa. That's his new name." He shrugged after saying that.
"But, w-why didn't you tell me he was alive, sir?"
Shibazaki watched her carefully before answering her questions.
"It's because Twelve can't remember the past. You better stay away, Lisa," Shibazaki said frankly.
Even though she was shocked and upset by what he said, she continue to ask. "Why can't everyone tell him, sir?"
He just sighed looking back at her.
"It is possible that Twelve will have complications and risk his life again when his memory recovers. In which case will lead just like Five and Nine's end."
Suddenly, something hit her chest.
She hoped that there would be a chance between them.
That they would be together again . . .
But she was wrong.
Her hopes disappear little by little as her tears fall down.
She cannot be with Twelve again.
Never again.
