Chapter Twenty-six

Ahaan was glad when his alarm finally went off at 6 AM that morning. He hadn't got much sleep that night, tossing and turning as he attempted to push away the spiralling thoughts that plagued his mind.

He could now finally get off his bed and head to school, even though that was the last thing he wanted to do. Football practice had ceased since exams were taking off in a couple of days. But he hoped there he could find some distraction, anything that could keep his head from replaying the words that had been said to him.

Ahaan checked his phone and found out that Pihu had not replied to his text yet. She was in one of her moods again. And he did not feel the need to push her more. If she did not want to talk to him, he did not want to talk to her either.

Kicking off the blankets, he stood up and pushed aside the red curtains of his window. It was still raining outside. That made him groan in frustration.
